She was very good at controlling the space in the area and dismantled several of Albion's attempts on that side. The center back used her body well to fight for space and dispossess opponents, but also displayed excellent and reading of the game to make interceptions and cover her teammates. She was everywhere defensively and appeared in important moments to win the ball and avoid what could be dangerous finishes from Albion. Ferrell's distribution was excellent as she connected her passes at a very high rate and made some really intelligent shifts to break pressure. She also played with a lot of intensity, helping her team win the midfield battle, and stepped up to shield the team's backline with great efficiency. She made great use of her positional freedom to roam around and explore the spaces she found to create chances. The midfielder was particularly dangerous when she got the ball on the left as she could bring it inside to finish or pass with her preferred right foot. She spent time on both wing positions, using her dribbling and pace to beat defenders, and also more centrally, where she got to combine with her teammates and finish chances. Sisson scored her team's first goal in a moment in which the match was very even, moving well to beat defenders to the ball and heading it with precision. She read the game very well and knew exactly when to step up and occupy the space in front of the penalty box or to stay back and get ready to cover her teammates. Reed was very successful in most of the duels she was involved and helped disrupt some plays. In the first half, Ross had more success in 1v1 situations and managed to take the ball to the end line. The midfielder moved well to avoid the pressure of Sting Austin's defender and did a very good job of finding teammates in dangerous spots with her passing. Morgan was also intelligent to play quickly when she had space, igniting some quick transition plays that resulted in finishes.
