It was a crazy match, with Challenge going down 3-0 in the first half before scoring six goals in the second to secure a huge win, but Kees stood out for her consistency. In the first half, when Challenge struggled with a new formation, she was one of the few players to produce at a good level, connecting good passes in midfield and trying to organize their offense. Kees started the match playing in a more advanced role in midfield but later dropped back to play in front of the center backs. She brought a lot of stability with her reliable passing and performed multiple roles for the team.

The pacey DeArmond was probably the Classics Elite player who better knew how to take advantage of Challenge's first-half struggles as she scored two of the team's three goals in the match. The winger stayed very wide to stretch the opposing backline and repeatedly hurt them with her well-timed diagonal runs, scoring the first goal in a play like that. She displayed great pace and used it to beat opponents in attacking plays and was very aggressive when on the ball, going at defenders without a second thought. DeArmond started the match on the left and had great success there, but moved to the right later and kept the high level of play.

Originally a midfielder, Flanagan was as difference-maker playing left back for Sting Dallas Black and led the team's comeback win with two goals. She scored the first one in a beautiful shot from a very difficult angle and a few minutes later found the back of the net again with a powerful finish from inside the penalty box. Flanagan played with tremendous intensity and dominated the left flank on both sides of the ball. She was very effective offensively, going at defenders with great tenacity, and also kept things under control on the defensive side of the ball.

Lazaro was very active in midfield for Sting Dallas Black and helped her team control that area of the field. She did a good job defensively, shielding the team's backline with efficiency, but was even more important with the ball, knowing exactly what to do in each situation. Lazaro remained patient to control her team's passing when Albion were defensively organized, but didn't hesitate in making runs through the middle when she saw the space to do it. The midfielder also fires some dangerous shots from outside the penalty box.

Jaimes was huge for Lonestar in midfield, winning most of the duels she was involved with and stopping most of Solar's defensive attempts. She played with great intensity and was very intelligent and quick to make interceptions, also tracking back and remaining engaged even when she was beaten. Jaimes also did a solid job with her passing, dropping to get it from the center backs when they were under pressure and connecting long passes and switches at a good rate. She supported the offense with some good runs off the ball through the middle and at times caught defenders off guard.

Garnica was Solar's most creative player and the biggest threat to Lonestar's backline throughout the match. Playing as an attacking midfielder, most of her team's plays went through her, who was consistently able to find teammates in good spots with her passing. She had good success with combination plays and did a good job of occupying the right side of the attack to create an overload there. Garnica also fired some dangerous shots.

Fickle played a big role for Dallas Surf serving as the focal point of their offense and was involved with a lot of the chances created by the team. She did a very good job of getting on the end of long passes, using her body to control the space and get first to the ball. Fickle also displayed some interesting playmaking abilities as, on some occasions, she would control the long pass, pass the ball to a teammate and drop back to get it back and attempt a long pass or a through ball. She was also used on the right and displayed good pace to attack and discipline to track back on defense.

Blakenship was very consistent for Challenge at right back and displayed some interesting qualities despite the team's setback. She was very solid defensively, not only blocking opposing attempts through her side, but also showing good pace to track back and cover her teammates when needed - she also defended crosses well inside the penalty box.
Playing as a left back, Rivas was an important player for Houstonians, offering contributions on both sides of the ball. She used her size and positioning to dominate her defensive zone and didn't have much trouble stopping Fever United's offensive pushes there. When on the ball, Rivas displayed great quality and vision, building her game around her passing ability and vision. She also did a good job of putting the ball back in play with throws and was very vocal, communicating with the defenders during the entire match.

Playing left back for DKSC, Gillem was very effective during the match, being one of the best players on the field. She was very focused defensively and never put a foot wrong with her positioning or decision-making when trying to stop plays. She was also very intelligent in possession, connecting good passes out of the back and always picking safe options over riskier ones, keeping her errors low. Gillem also displayed a great understanding of when to push forward or to support the offense from a deeper position and every time she did go forward, she used her good pace to get to the end line in no time.

Playing as a wingback, Cosolo took full advantage of the coverage provided by Albion's three-man backline to bomb forward and was rewarded by scoring the team's goal. Playing mostly on the right, she was a constant presence in the attacking half, consistently offering a passing option to her teammates and making good decisions with her passing and runs. Cosolo spent some time on the left too, where she didn't play as wide, often bringing the ball inside to make plays.
