The 07 age group featured some of the best games of the day as the attacking talent was on full display early. Check out the players who stood out from the games Prep Soccer saw on Saturday.

Mia Herbert, KC Athletics 07 - I thought Herbert was one of the best players of the day from any age group. I love that she offers a complete skill set to No. 9 position. She can play with her back to the goal and link up with teammates while holding off the center back, but when the center back gets too tight, as we saw on Saturday, Herbert can spin on goal and run past defenders with ease. She was involved in the goals, but she also draws so much attention to herself that it opens up the game for her teammates.

Genevieve Hull, KC Athletics 07 - Hull scored the opening goal as she got on the end of a nice team move from KC Athletics. The midfielder showed off an impressive engine as she covered a ton of ground and was rewarded with the goal.

Haley Cramer, KC Athletics 07 - Cramer was outstanding for KC Athletics in the midfield. She scored a goal at a nice shot from the top of the box that was an expertly placed effort. She was very good at getting into the dangerous spots. The ball was drawn to her and she made the most of the chances.

Sydney Coffman, KC Athletics 07 - Coffman impressed me with her mobility. The tall center back showed off good foot speed in matching up with the dynamic Concorde Fire attack. She also had a couple of good slide tackles. Coffman's athleticism and defensive instincts suggest she is going to be an early contributor at the next level.

Lily Elphick, Concorde Fire Platinum 07 - Elphick was the most dangerous player on the day for Concorde. The speedy winger created chances with her skill and pace.

Mackenzie Kruer, Indy Eleven Pro Academy 07 - Kruer was outstanding against San Diego Surf. She did well in shutting down service and forcing Surf to keep the ball in spots that did not threaten the goal. An advanced tactical approach from the center back helped Indy pull off the win on Saturday.

Maggie Marlin, Indy Eleven Pro Academy 07 - Marlin was one of the top uncommitted 2025s at the event on Saturday. She was Kruer's partner in crime at center back and dictated the game in the win over Surf.

Lauryn Thompson, Indy Eleven Pro Academy 07 - Thompson has game-breaking abilities and that was on display against Surf. The attacker was dangerous and a constant threat. Emma Johnson scored both goals for Indy.

[player_tooltip player_id='99235' first='Edra' last='Bello'], San Diego Surf 07 - Bello showed her quality on the ball as a center back at the start and then moved up to a midfield role. She was good at combining with teammates and creating space against the press with 1-2 passes. [player_tooltip player_id='79797' first='Gabby' last='Anderson'] was also a standout for Surf.

Aubrey Haesche, World Class FC 07 - Haesche made a couple of good saves early on in the clash against Solar.

Kennedy Ring, World Class FC 07 - Ring was very good for WCFC in the first half against Solar. She did well in her positioning and showed good decision-making while in possession.

Alina Lagace, World Class FC 07 - Lagace had some strong moments in the first half against Solar. She showed good skill on the ball and the ability to dribble past defenders through the center of the field. She is an uncommitted prospect in the 2025 class. Amelia Layden and Nicki Masseur were also uncommitted standouts for WCFC.

[player_tooltip player_id='26709' first='Evan' last='O'Steen'], Solar 07 - O'Steen had a couple of good saves in the first class when it was still scoreless. Solar would go on to earn a comfortable win, but O'Steen's early saves helped her squad keep level footing.

Tessa Knapp, Internationals 07 - Knapp was the other player in consideration for best player of the day. She showed a complete dominance in the center of the field against a physical Slammers side.

[player_tooltip player_id='19289' first='Cooper' last='Dick'], Slammers FC 07 - Dick made two great saves early in the game against Internationals as her goal was under attack early.

Audrey Amsden, Internationals 07 - Amsden had a strong outing in the midfield for Internationals. She was a great partner for Knapp and helped clean up the play when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='82441' first='Joey' last='Birkbeck'], Slammers FC 07 - Birkbeck fought and battled for every ball. The physical center back left a mark on the game with her play.

[player_tooltip player_id='33320' first='Jocelyn' last='Travers'], Bay Area Surf 07 - There aren't many left backs who can dribble through the opposing defense, but Travers is one of them. Her finish was a bit lacking on the day, but the sheer skill and confidence to pull it off were mesmerizing.

[player_tooltip player_id='63471' first='Mimi' last='Yamamoto'], Bay Area Surf 07 - I thought Yamamoto was exceptional in pulling the strings for her side. She pinged the ball side to side and hit it with zip so it got there in a hurry. She is a coachable midfielder who showed her class in the win.

Madalyn Wright, NC Fusion 07 - Wright played well in goal in the first half for NC Fusion (I only saw the first half). She made the saves when called upon and showed secure hands. Jaden Sink was also a standout for NC Fusion.

[player_tooltip player_id='77938' first='Eden' last='Nicholson'], San Juan 07 - Nicholson was a key part of the San Juan defense in the shutout victory over Real Colorado. She matched up well as a 1v1 defender and held her own against some top attacking talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='54274' first='Jalena' last='Kimber'], San Juan 07 - One of the most dynamic wingers on the day, Kimber's pace was a tough mark for Real Colorado's outside backs. It felt like she could get to the end line whenever she wanted.

Celina Frenz, Real Colorado 07 - The ball had a tendency to find her feet. She was invovled in a lot of the action for Real Colorado. She has a non-stop engine and a sharp mind for tactics. Raleigh Greason, Emma Fassora, and Addison Ball were also standouts for Real Colorado.

Skylar Cole, FL Premier FC 07 - Cole scored a spectacular goal as she battled against a defender, took a controlled touch to pop the ball up in the air, and then volleyed it home. Skylar Alonso also scored for FL Premier FC.

Chloe Sandler, La Roca 07 - The US U16 Women's National Team player looked the part on Saturday. Playing up some age groups, she showed off a bit in the 3-2 win over FL Premier FC. The way Sandler cuts with the ball at her feet at such a tight angle is one of the aspects of her game that is pretty rare and stands out on these fields. She plays with such confidence thanks to her mastery of the ball. She had a couple of heel flicks that were successful and a joy to watch.

Devin McElroy, Charlotte SA 07 - I continue to be a fan of McElroy's game and believe she could be one of the best in this class. She has a tremendously high ceiling and proved her quality in a tight battle with MVLA on Saturday.

Tiana Righetti, Connecticut FC 07 - Righetti had the opening goal for CFC in the loss to Slammers FC HB Koge. She showed good strength to hold off a defender and good composure to finish under pressure.

[player_tooltip player_id='62477' first='Maya' last='Woolforde'], Slammers FC HB Koge 07 - Woolforde changed the game with her introduction on the field. She offers the ability to stretch the defense with her pace and it opened up the midfield for Slammers.
