We've already highlighted some of the players who had strong performances in the matches we got to watch, so now we'll expand it a little bit more, splitting the standouts by division and position. As we complete our positionals in the 17s division, here are some of the most dangerous forwards we got to watch.

Even playing one age group up in College Station, Chaump's Sting Dallas Black 08 ECNL team was dominant, getting two wins and outscoring opponents by seven to one. She contributed two goals and one assist and was a constant threat on the right with her ability to dribble the ball and direct style in the final third. Chaump had great success with her runs out wide, using her pace and dribbling to beat opponents and create chances. She circulated well around the penalty box, at times getting on the end of long passes, and scored a beautiful goal with a shot from outside the penalty box against Albion Hurricanes FC 07 ECNL.

Denton's Lonestar SC Black 07 GA team had a win and a loss in the event, having her as an offensive target up top. Her game was solid in a lot of different areas and allowed her team to hurt opponents in multiple ways. Denton was excellent at getting on the end of long passes and using her body to hold the ball - she would occasionally pass it to a midfielder around her and in other moments turn and make plays herself. The forward displayed good presence inside the penalty box, but also had the mobility to drift wide and make runs on the wings.

Hemperley was a key piece in the offensive system of her team Rise SC 07 GA, which was one of the best in the event, getting three wins and scoring 12 goals. A very physical and mobile player, she created numerous goalscoring opportunities for her team with her ability to make turns and progress the ball. Hemperley played an important role in getting on the end of long passes, but was even better when she faced the opposing goal, going at defenders and beating them off the dribble. She displayed great finishing skills and combined very well with attacking midfielder Breanna Medina, engaging in combination plays and making smart runs off the ball.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MmJo3ZoF1w

Martinez and her team Houstonians FC USC RL G07 had just one win and one goal scored in three matches in College Station, but she showed some interesting skills against Fever United WTX 07G Medina. A lefty, she played inverted on the right for them and had some good moments, beating defenders with ease and bringing the ball inside to finish. She was in charge of corner kicks on the right and did a good job with them, sending dangerous crosses into the penalty box.

FC Dallas 07 ECNL won both of their matches at the Texas Shootout outscoring their opponents by five to two and Storer was on fire, scoring three of the team's goals over the weekend. She operated extremely well inside the penalty box, not needing much time or space to finish chances with power and precision. Storer also worked well alongside the players around her, making runs to create space for them and taking part in quick combination plays through the middle. The forward also didn't save energy when playing defense as she consistently put pressure on opposing defenders when they had the ball.
