A lot I saw from watching her that impressed me. Won tons of 50-50 balls both in the air and on the ground. Strong body positioning in 1v1's and barely got beat on the dribble. Had several key clearances vs FC Dallas in the rd of 16 which was crucial in helping them secure a spot in the ECNL QF in Virginia. Diedrich was electric in her first outing of the tournament. Excelled at making runs in transition which freed her up for the first goal of the game. Out-dribbled numerous opponents with the ball as well. Best one came late when she blew by FIVE defenders before drawing a foul inside the box. Un fortunately, an injury kept her out the last two games. [player_tooltip player_id='94266' first='Micayla' last='Johnson'] made lots of dangerous plays in the Hawks ECNL matchup vs United Futbol Academy. Her ability to out-dribble opponents in the attacking third was exceptional. At least 5-6 successful dribble attempts in that game. Johnson's best play was probably when she out-dribbled two defenders for a shot to the bottom-right corner of the net, which was eventually rebounded by her teammate into the net. Morse was outstanding in the midfield last week. She displayed technical abilities with the ball at her feet while excelling at set-pieces. Created tons of scoring chances through crosses and through-balls into dangerous zones. Really good stance when preparing for a shot in net. Strong, firm hands with above-average footwork in goal. Made the game-winning save of their PK shootout to punch their ticket to Virginia!
