<p>California continues to produce great athletes and soccer players, and more players are gaining visibility. These five players are popping up on radars and are showing skills that have people interested. They all have the ability to develop into excellent players. Here are five to watch for.</p>

<p>Raquel Andrade, Defender/Midfielder/Forward, Sporting CA, Class of 2026</p>

<p>Andrade is the very definition of versatile as she can play, and play well, at all three levels. She plays as a center back, and it speaks to her athleticism that she can play in the midfield and as a striker. She can be a box-to-box center mid or a tough No. 6. She's excellent on balls in the air, either attacking a ball with her head to put it on frame or winning aerial duals. She's also very good on spot kicks, either a free kick or a penalty. As a defender she wins most of her 50/50 balls because she plays with a physical and aggressive style.</p>

<p>Peyton Bowser, Forward, Sporting SC, Class of 2026</p>

<p>Bowser is a fast attacking player who shows great movement off the ball. She has the ability to change the game in one possession because she has a powerful shot and she can score in a flash. She is very consistent in her ability to finish and she can use either foot, as well as the ability to finish with her head as she is very good in the air. She has great pace in getting up the pitch and she closes on keepers and defenders fast, giving them very little time to react and respond. Bowser comes at you hard and aggressively. She shows good foot skills in her ability to move at speed on the ball and to cross the ball into the area while moving at speed. She is a leader, and a positive player as well as she impacts play on and off the pitch.</p>

<p>Carrillo is a keeper with a good understanding of nuance. She has good footwork and positions herself well. She was invited to the USYNT ID camp in San Diego because she has an advanced understanding of the position, as well as the ability to stop shots, technical ability so she can play with the ball at her feet and she distributes well.</p>

<p>Jackson has a great deal of speed and ability on the outside. She plays on the right side and shows good straight line speed going up and down the touch line. She can also turn the corner with ease and agility so when she gets a shoulder past a defender, she is able to skillfully get buy. She also is very good tracking back and dispossessing while on the move. She has strong foot skills, good crossing ability and she likes to get involved in the attack.</p>

<p>Isela Villa Lopez, Forward, SoCal Blues, Class of 2028</p>

<p>Villa Lopez was invited to Atlanta for the 2010's USYNT ID camp in March, and for good reason. She is a technically gifted forward with good speed, good strength and the ability to make defenders miss. She can use either foot and she finishes very well. She is an up and coming goal-scorer to watch.</p>
