Texas does not lack for athletes, and these seven girls are just that. They are very athletic attacking players, some very versatile as they play as forwards and/or midfielders. The common thread with these seven girls is that they put the ball away and they create for their teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='197655' first='Kalani' last='Brundage'], Forward/Midfielder, Solar, Class of 2027

Brundage can operate in the No. 10 spot or as a forward and her athletic ability allows her to be very good at both. She is very shifty and agile, changing direction and varying up pace to twist defenders up and keep them guessing. She's very poised for a 2027, never rushing, always remaining calm on the ball and she makes smart decisions. She plays a nice through ball with good weight and precision, and she also shows a very good right-footed shot from distance.

[player_tooltip player_id='27216' first='Saiyan' last='Cross'], Forward/Attacking Midfielder, Dallas Texans, Class of 2026

Cross is a powerful player with tremendous ability. She is as good on the ball as she is off it. When she's on the ball, she has the burst and physicality to beat defenders, and when she is not on the ball, she is very good about finding pockets where she can operate and be dangerous, but she is also willing to move towards a teammate to get the ball and facilitate, not only looking to be a goal-scorer. Speaking of scoring goals, though, that is what she does best. She really knows how to put the ball into the net, showing a wonderful instinct in that regard. She can score with her feet, with her head as she seems to have a good tactical awareness and spatial awareness that allows her to maximize opportunities.

[player_tooltip player_id='112748' first='Lily' last='Marquez'], Forward/Midfielder, Dallas Texans, Class of 2026

Marquez can feature out wide as a forward or play in the No. 10 spot, showing great creativity and ability wherever she plays. She likes to get on her right foot and try to deliver a bending shot into the corner, and she forces the keeper into tough saves with her ability to place the ball. Her ability to bend the ball and her overall finishing ability make her a very good goal scorer. She shows fast-twitch movements in that she can really shift her weight quickly and juke defenders, showing her awesome athleticism when she is on the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='169298' first='Gabby' last='McCuistion'], Forward/Midfielder, HTX, Class of 2026

McCuistion is the complete package that you want to see in a goal scorer. She has good size, she is strong, she is fast, she is physical and she wants it more than you do. When you see her play or watch her tape, one thing you will notice that she is great at is her ability to get to the far post, shed her defender and then raise up in the air and score on a header. She is fantastic in the air and because she is so athletic and so strong, it is hard to stop. She is a clever player with good vision, anticipation and understanding of the game and you can see that come out in her when she sits deeper and plays in the midfield, which she is very capable of.

[player_tooltip player_id='158445' first='Erika' last='Montes'], Forward, Sting Black, Class of 2026

Montes might time her runs as any forward you will see. She is excellent about staying level and then knowing when to burst. She also doesn't make the mistake of staying offside if the ball isn't played as she flattens her run out and drags back across the area to present herself as an option. From there, she is excellent in tight areas and can free herself up for a shot, but she is so unselfish that when a player is available out wide, she plays the ball and she is ready to pounce if there is a deflection or ricochet. She is also very clever when on the ball and can use either feet with great dexterity and agility. She makes defenders miss with ease, she has good speed and great technical skills. She's also a bulldog when it comes to frustrating defenders as she really keeps the pressure on.

[player_tooltip player_id='163973' first='Addison' last='Smith'], Forward, Sting Black, Class of 2027

Smith shows an advanced understanding of the game for a 2027 player, frequently taking on older players during high school and strong players during club and finding a way to beat them. She is really good about finding a way to split the defenders as she makes runs in seams and always seems to find space. She times her runs really well, and she has speed to get past even the fastest defender. She has a rocket of a right-footed shot and shows great instincts, great one-touch ability and excellent finishing ability.

Alita Uresti, Forward/Midfielder, Classics Elite, Class of 2025

Uresti is a really fun player to watch. She is a bit of a jitterbug in that she changes pace and direction so easily and frequently that you can see defenders having a hard time keeping up with her. She can play across the top or as an attacking midfielder and no matter where she is, she impacts the game. She has speed to get by defenders on the outside, she finishes clinically in the area and she also has tremendous vision and sets her teammates up well, also.
