She’s a three-time high school state champion with Ursuline Academy and a key piece in the Dallas Texans U19 team in the ECNL league. She can play different roles in midfield, but is probably at her best when placed out wide, thanks to her ability to support her team’s offense with on and off-the-ball runs. Marquez will be with the Dallas Texans 08 team that will be challenged by Oregon Surf, SLSG Green and Rockford Raptors in the showcase. She can play in midfield or in the attack for them and is consistently involved in the team’s offensive plays. Wherever she’s placed, Marquez demands a lot from opposing defenders with her quickness on the ball and her ability to drive it forward. She also hits the ball extremely well, which makes of her an excellent finisher and a weapon in set pieces, as she’s capable of providing great deliveries.
