Six from Slammers FC who are college committed

Slammers FC is a great club with a great reputation and track record for winning, for developing players and for helping them find homes after high school. They have committed (at least) 22 players from the class of 2025, which is incredible. Here are six of them that are very deserving of being highlighted.    Brakefield is one of the more impressive defenders from the 2025 class because she can do everything on the pitch. She can play a ball from the back, either over the top or break lines on the floor, she can push up and attack corner kicks with ferocious headers, and most of all, she can play physically as a defender and make life hard on attackers. She makes very strong challenges, she gets her timing right and she wins the ball. She is committed to Seattle University.     Doogan is so fast. Her speed just absolutely pops on film. She is also incredibly skilled with the ball as she switches feet and direction smoothly and with ease. It's no wonder UCLA wanted her. She has fantastic foot skills, she can make any pass on the pitch as she is not just a wide back that runs to the corner and sends in crosses. She can play in any system because of her ability to pick a pass. She can create for herself as well, showing the ability to carry the ball up the pitch and get into the area and score.     Hoch has a fantastic array of skills, offering just what you are hoping to get out of someone in the midfield. She can score, she can pass, she can disrupt. Starting with her ability to score, she can use either foot to put a strong shot on frame, but really has an impressive left foot that she whips quickly and powerfully. She is great in possession, she is composed on the ball and she is very precise with the balls she plays. She's a strong presence as well, disrupting opponents by knowing where to position herself and taking away passing lanes. Hoch is a future Longhorn as she is heading to the University of Texas.     Markey is a national player for the Philippines, and she plays the game with energy and she exudes passion. She also seems to love playing the sport and it shows in her results as well as in her affect. She is a versatile defender who can play wide on any side and has the foot skills and technical ability of a midfielder. She can manipulate the ball, beat people off the dribble, carry down the pitch and create. She is a threat offensively because of her ability to play on the ball and because of her keen off-ball movement. She works hard as a defender as she is relentless. She tracks back well, she's locked on in 1v1 situations and she is strong and dedicated in her challenges. Markey is heading to beautiful Malibu to play at Pepperdine.     Perry has good size, an athletic frame and tremendous ability to move in the box. This gives her a wide save radius as she can get to just about any ball. Because of her athleticism and how she moves so well, she can get to the far post and extend well, she can tip the ball over the roof when it seems destined to curl under the crossbar and she gets low quickly on balls on the floor. She is a UC Davis commit.     Villa is a force in the midfield. The Iowa State commit does everything well making her such an impact player. She is dedicated to contributing on both ends of the pitch as she is really good at breaking up attacks, putting herself in the right spots to cut off a pass or make a challenge. Going the other way, she really transitions the team well because of how well she receives the ball, how decisive and quick to act she is as she plays the ball quickly, and accurately, or she starts carrying downhill and fast. She's a great passer, she's great on the ball and she creates opportunities for hear team.
