<p>This Saturday the Pennsylvania Girls High School soccer season concluded with champions crowned in the PIAA and in the PAISAA. Prep Soccer was able to attend all 5 championship games played over the course of the week. Listed below are brief recaps of the games and the standout players who featured prominently.</p>

<p>PIAA 4A - This was a thriller that contained multiple lead changes with Downingtown West coming out on top with a golden goal in overtime to win 3-2 over Conestoga. This was the 3<sup>rd</sup> time these teams faced off coming out of District 1 with Conestoga winning both prior matchups.</p>

<p>PIAA 3A - The 3A contest was more of a defensive game with District 1 runner-up Strath Haven winning 1-0 over District 3 champion Lower Dauphin. </p>

<p>PIAA 2A - The 2A game was an east vs. west matchup with Northwestern Lehigh completing an undefeated season with a 2-1 overtime win over Erie Cathedral Prep. </p>

<p>PIAA 1A - In the 1A game with the smaller schools we saw a 4-3 slugfest with Dock Mennonite outlasting Springdale.</p>

<p>PAISAA - The PA Independent Schools Athletic Association final featured two of the top private schools in the state with the Westtown School edging out Springside Chestnut Hill by a 1-0 margin. This was one of the more technical games we reviewed with many of the participants also playing for the top club teams in the area.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Reddy, a Sr. Downingtown West goalkeeper made many crucial saves in the second half and overtime to keep Downingtown West in the contest. Reddy shut down a highly potent Conestoga attack lead by [player_tooltip player_id='25856' first='Kate' last='Kemmerley'] who scored two first half goals. [player_tooltip player_id='110970' first='Macie' last='Osunde'] was the primary offensive weapon for Downingtown West with a goal and an assist. [player_tooltip player_id='25863' first='Keira' last='Kemmerley'] dominated the midfield for Conestoga and was unlucky to walk away on the losing end of this game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Dignazio, Strath Haven's Sr. midfielder was simply the most athletic player on the field. The Brown lacrosse commit was a dominant force playing as a box-to-box midfielder. Diganzio was all over the field providing the key cross for the game winner as well as shut down defense on Lower Dauphin star midfielder, [player_tooltip player_id='25699' first='Ashley' last='Economopoulos']. [player_tooltip player_id='110972' first='Alice' last='Rieger'], Fr. Goalkeeper for Strath Haven came up big and kept the clean sheet.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Bissel, the Sr. Striker lead the undefeated Northwestern Lehigh attack and scored both goals including the game winner in overtime. Dylan Ritter, Sophomore midfielder, assisted on the final goal and brought a physical presence to the NW Lehigh midfield. Oliva Dixon stood out in the Cathedral Prep midfield and provided a two-way spark.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Brown, the So. Forward for Dock Mennonite lead the way with two goals and an assist in a game that saw 5 goals scored over an 8 minute interval. Sr. Brianna Ross lead Springdale and was their most effective player.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Bartsch, the Westtown Junior defender, not only anchored an impressive back 4, but also provided a free kick blast from 40 yards out to win the game. Danielle Liz Esaka, [player_tooltip player_id='268415' first='Charlotte' last='Reed'] and Kaitlin Boston locked down the defense for Westtown and kept the clean sheet. The midfield battle of Westtown's [player_tooltip player_id='25958' first='Noelle' last='Clabaugh'] and [player_tooltip player_id='110971' first='Eliana' last='Powenski'] vs. Springside Chestnut Hill's Cali Smith and Ryleigh Bakley was fun to watch.</p>
