Marvin Ridge High School is the next team in this series of articles. They finish the season as the 13th-ranked team in the state after a solid season. Having won their conference undefeated, won the 4A West regional title, and finished as the state runner-up, Marvin Ridge was very effective. Their team is full of talented players with lots of potential, but the following are the biggest talents in my opinion.

Cassius is one of the best left-back prospects I've seen at the high school level so far. He has the attributes that you look for in the modern full-back, with still a year left at this level. In attack, he always presents himself as a passing option. Not only does he present himself as an option, but he also generates many chances from the wing. His crossing is pinpoint, being the one in charge of taking long set pieces. Defensively, he's just as impressive. Tactically and psychologically aware, he makes it a nightmare to get past him. He knows how to time tackles, never looking erratic when going in for the ball. Holding his position perfectly gives his team much-needed peace of mind.

Maximos is a talented attacking midfielder who can also push up forward if needed. He helps play circulate with great fluidity through the middle with his quick thinking. One of the greatest attributes of his is his willingness to get the ball. This applies both in attack and in defense. In attack, he will always present himself as an option down the middle, no matter how deep he drops. He always looks to keep the play in the final third as long as possible, which makes him a great first line of defense. The pressure he applies on the opponent's build-up is great, never letting them rest if they come near him. In his inventory, he also has the willingness to shoot from far.

Brady is a great central midfielder who makes the second-third of the pitch entirely his. When his team is defending, he proves to be a very committed player who offers a vital helping hand. When his team regains possession, he's typically the first player they look for to build from deep. Whether he carries the ball or passes it to an open player, he's a progressive-minded midfielder. When he's given space to dribble, he makes teams pay for doing so. He creates chances when he finds himself in the position to do so. If it isn't him though, it's whoever he passes the ball to who creates the chance.

Collin is a fantastically gifted and versatile forward who can play anywhere in attack, mostly centrally. The comfort he plays with regardless of his position makes him hard to defend since he makes things happen from anywhere. His stature makes him even more of an annoyance for defenders since he can win aerial duels easily. The chemistry he has with the players around him is fantastic as well. He links up perfectly and makes his team's attacking play very fluid. His off-the-ball movement helps with this fluidity as well, constantly taking up different roles to keep play going. In the box, he's alert and always looking for a shot on target.

James is a great prospect at right-back, being the complete package in said position. Defensively, he doesn't need to do much to win the ball back. He can regain possession in simple fashion, even if the threat is serious. His pace helps immensely in defense when he has to track back as well, never being out of position for too long. In attack, he offers a great outlet on the right often making runs into the final third. He can either overlap or make inverted runs, but he'll always be another attacking option. He likes to play dangerous passes across the box, looking for anybody's feet to put it in the net. His ambidexterity makes him unpredictable as well, which is a great boost in attack.

Marvin Ridge High School was mentioned in this article as well if you'd like to read it.
