The Ridge Point Panthers from Missouri City were the top team in District 20 last season, finishing district play with 15 wins and one tie and made it past the first round of the playoffs before falling in the area around and ending their season with a 20-2-3 record. Forward Dayo Tennyson and midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='26944' first='Kylie' last='Harris'] were the main standouts in the program's graduating class. The Panthers continue to have a deep and talented roster, with seniors [player_tooltip player_id='26336' first='Kelsey' last='Vaughn'], Emma Lovell and Allison Wilson, juniors [player_tooltip player_id='89586' first='Ryann' last='Dedmon'] and [player_tooltip player_id='225413' first='Ashley' last='Currie'] and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='148467' first='Olivia' last='Reddick'] appearing in the backline, senior [player_tooltip player_id='26338' first='Laurel' last='Kelley'] and junior Gracie Gammons manning the midfield and senior Camryn Letellier leading the attack.

Ridge Point have plenty of excellent options in the backline, but regardless of who's on the field or which formation the team uses, it's Dedmon who anchors it. A center back who combines extraordinary physical tools, a very high soccer IQ and a solid technical foundation, she's really difficult to get by. Dedmon is probably at her best when used in the center back three as she's excellent at covering her teammates and has the mobility to track attackers in deeper positions and keep them under pressure. The center back also has a lot of quality on the ball, taking part in the team's buildup, and a strong presence in the attacking penalty box, often scoring goals in set pieces,

Kelley is probably Ridge Point's most creative player and a lot of what the team produces offensively comes through her. She's an all-around playmaker, who can create chances in a variety of ways. Kelley is an excellent passer, thrives in creating space with her dribbling and is also a threat with her ability to finish from outside the penalty box. She's typically used more centrally, but can feature on the wings too, using her pace and dribbling to go at defenders and get opposing backlines out of shape.

A versatile player who can perform multiple roles in the attack, Letellier should be the focal point of Ridge Point's offense this season. An excellent finisher, she's not a conventional number nine, playing the role with a lot of mobility. Letellier's ability to read the game consistently puts her in great spots to finish and she rarely misses a chance. The senior can also drop deeper to help create plays and has an interesting ability to finish from distance, being a goalscoring threat even away from the penalty box.
