The Olympic Development Program (ODP) is a great way to get seen and expose a young player to strong competition this time of year. ODP used to be the premier development platform where players would get recruited and build their resume's. With MLS NEXT and ECNL gaining traction it has been difficult for ODP to establish themselves as a premier option for kids development. This past weekend in Arizona proved that they are still attracting top talent to their events. Here are some standouts from Cal North.

Sadie Siedel- The young silky playmaker was at it again in Phoenix this past weekend. Still only an 8th grader Ms. Siedel has a very impressive offensive skill set. She found great pockets of space in the opposition's defense and creates a ton of chances. She was used as the primary link between midfield and attack for her Cal North team.

Koda Davis- An early candidate for the #1 player in California for the 2012 age group. She has excellent foot skills, exceptional first touch and a rapid first step. She dribbles by players with ease and looks to be playing a completely different game out there. She scored 7 goals at Far West Regionals and plays the game with so much joy and freedom. She is a truly exceptional talent.

Briella Perham- her strength, technique, and involvement in the build-up were keys to Cal North's success. She used her movement and skill to create chance after chance.

Audrey Wang- Wang demonstrated excellent composure and playmaking ability in the central area's as Cal North's go to CAM. Her quick decision making and technical skill allows her to dictate the tempo and connect the midfield with the attack seamlessly.

[player_tooltip player_id='268387' first='Ana' last='Pintard']- Ana Maradonna herself was playing outside back at Far West regionals and had a great showing. Her athletic ability has improved leaps and bounds from this time last year. She got up and down the wing for Cal North always looking to overlap and create width offensively while also transitioning very sharply defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='262616' first='Aris' last='Yu']- She seems to impress wherever she plays and regionals were no different. She shut down the opposing oppositions winger and started many attacks in transition. She has exceptional ball skills and a plethora of moves in her arsenal.

Erikka Flores- Very athletic player who wins a load of aerial duels. She seems to be a step ahead of the oppositions attack and is a very strong leader who organizes the defense nicely.
