As part of the in-depth scouting efforts from the junior class, a number of previously unranked players stood out from game film at both the club and high school level. Below is the scouting report on a handful of those players.

[player_tooltip player_id='276053' first='Isabel' last='Guerrero'] - Guerrero is a magician with the ball at her feet. The North Shore midfielder earned All-County honors for her stellar play at the high school level. She was often the orchestrator for her high school team with her brilliant passing and sharpshooting capabilities from outside of the box. Guerrero has been outstanding for her club team too. Her play with Long Island GA 2008 has showcased a creative playmaker who uses body feints well and hits a variety of passes. She has the potential to be a playmaker in the attacking midfield role at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='276088' first='Emily' last='DeSousa'] - DeSousa is a standout at the high school and club level. She's been a top performer at the Girls Academy level in recent years and just had an outstanding season with Saint Anthony's. The game film shows a potential immediate impact player at the college level as a physically imposing forward. She does not shy away from contact and uses her body well to keep defenders off the ball. She is great at linking up with teammates and being the target for her side. She has a good first touch and strength on the ball. DeSousa can hit a good cross, but needs to make more an impact as a finisher. She could be a bit more selfish in the final third as she tends to play more of a playmaking role as a No. 9, but needs to have more of that finishing instinct to get that consistent spot in the lineup at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='276075' first='Amelie' last='Donzo'] - Donzo caught the eye of scouts at the ODP level. Her game film backs up the accolade. She's got a whirlwind force on the field. The dynamic athleticism combined with the exquisite ball-striking technique make for a player who has done exceptionally well over the past season. Donzo can play any position on the field. I love the potential for her at right back. She is a right footed player who has the quickness to win the duel and the attacking chops to impact the game in the final third.

[player_tooltip player_id='276089' first='Maeve' last='Downing'] - Downing is a winger on the Long Island GA 08 team. She can play either side of the formation. She looks more comfortable on her right foot, but she hits a good consistent cross with her left as well. She has good pace and is a weapon in the press. She has good skill on the ball and can dribble out of pressure. Downing was outstanding recently for Long Island at the Girls Academy event.

[player_tooltip player_id='276076' first='Harper' last='Goergen'] - Goergen is a defensive midfielder who starred at the high school level recently. She is five-foot-10 with a strong right foot. There is some potential for her as a center back. The way she wins the aerial duels in the center of the field combined with her defensive instincts suggest the qualities to be outstanding at right center back as well. She is a smart player. She always checks her shoulders before receiving the ball and does well with decision-making in possession. Goergen's impact is easy to spot as one of the most skillful defensive midfielders in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id='276092' first='Siena' last='McCree'] - McCree is a top goalkeeper in this class. She is five-foot-10 with unmatched athleticism and quick reflexes. Her recent play at the Girls Academy Winter Showcase was an especially bright spot in a decorated year for the junior. She made countless saves for her side including a wonderful kick save that showed off all of her best attributes and a major reason why she provides the game-deciding potential scouts covet from the position.

[player_tooltip player_id='276093' first='Ysabelle' last='Perillo'] - Perillo is a forward/midfielder who earns more touches on the field than pretty much anyone else. If the ball is near her feet, she will gain possession of it and usually make something good happen for her team. She is quick on her feet and springs to action in the blink of an eye. She is silky smooth on the ball and spins on a dime to get away from defenders. Perillo has big time potential, and should be a target for programs looking for attacking talent among the 2026 class who can impact the game immediately.

[player_tooltip player_id='110885' first='Francesca' last='Curatolo'] - Curatolo is a center back from the SUSA 08 ECNL team. She was an ECNL All-Conference honoree in 2023 and an All-County honoree for her high school in 2023 and 2024. She can play either left or right center back. She is right footed, but comfortable on the ball and at ease using either foot. She plays with her head up and can break pressure off the dribble. She is a physical defender and will get into a challenge in the open field. She is a competitive player and shines bright in the most competitive games.

[player_tooltip player_id='24550' first='Mia' last='Savarese'] - Savarese is fresh off an All-State selection for her play for her school. The defender followed that up with a dominant display at the Girls Academy Winter Showcase. She is a right footed center back. She can play as the man-marking center back as she is good in the duel and does well cutting out the entry pass. She can also play off the ball in a role to organize the defense. She has a ton of potential and been one of the best performers in the past six months in the junior class.
