Prep Soccer Texas was in attendance, and on Tuesday, April 15, we went to both the Richland College and the Ross Stewart Soccer Complex venues, where we followed many Girls' matches. With the tournament now concluded, we're featuring some of the players who made a strong impression in the matches we got to watch. Our coverage of the tournament comes to an end today, but not before we give the props to the forwards who were heavily impactful for their teams:

Ramirez was pivotal in her team's Legends FC San Bernardino G0 2-1 victory over Cosmos FC Academy 07 USC TX RL. The forward not only scored the game-winning goal for the California side, but was also their main offensive weapon during the entire match. Ramirez spent time up top and on both wings and was an excellent target for her team's long passes because of how well she used her body to control the space and to shield the ball. She played with a lot of intensity and displayed great pace when she had space to make runs in the final third. Ramirez also showed great determination and commitment to play defense, pressing center backs and also tracking to help her team defend deeper in the final minutes of the match.

Hafner had an active shift when her team BVB IA NTX 07/06 GA lost 1-0 to Americas FC 06. She started the match on the right side of her team's attack and was consistently dangerous with her pace and dribbling ability. Hafner did a great job of moving to create passing options for her teammates and also timed her runs extremely well, efficiently attacking the space behind the opposing backline. She then moved to a more central position and operated as an attacking midfielder, displaying great vision and passing ability to pull the strings of her team's offense.

Valcik was decisive for her team Americas FC 06 in their 1-0 victory over BVB IA NTX 07/06 GA. She scored the game-winning goal in a match of limited opportunities for both sides and was always very active in the final third. Valcik played a few different roles for her team in the attacking half and, wherever she was placed, she would always be heavily involved in their offensive efforts, beating opponents off the dribble and moving the ball quickly around the penalty box - she also sent some good crosses into the box. The forward also did a good job of finishing chances, getting into the box to score her team's game-winning goal and firing some dangerous shots from distance.

Jacobs was an interesting offensive weapon for her team [program_tooltip program_id='283311' first='Dallas' last='Texans'] 08G ECNL in their 3-1 victory over Villarreal NTX 08G. Playing on the right side of their attack, she was extremely active and managed to beat her defender more times than not during the match, consistently creating good goalscoring opportunities for her team. Jacobs used her pace to take the ball to the end line on several occasions and, in one of them, she fed [player_tooltip player_id='27040' first='Makenzie' last='Majors'] to score the team's third goal with an easy tap-in almost under the posts. The forward also scored off a header after a free kick, but her finish was over the bar.

Bledsoe was one of the catalysts of [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] 10G ECNL's 6-0 victory over [program_tooltip program_id='283317' first='[program_tooltip program_id='280767' first='DKSC' last='']' last=''] 10G ECNL RL. Playing on the left side of the team's attack, she was dangerous every time she got on the ball, combining with teammates to make plays of bringing the ball inside to finish or deliver dangerous passes into the penalty box. Bledsoe scored Dallas' second goal in the match by coming from the left to the right side of the box and firing a powerful shot into the upper corner. She was basically unstoppable in 1v1 plays and displayed impressive mental quickness, making great decisions when on the ball, even when under pressure.
