Key Players in ECNL Norcal Conference Winners

Seasons are wrapping up in ECNL Conferences around the country and playoffs are looming next month. Being in Northern California I follow the ECNL NORCAL Conference extremely closely. Big congratulations to [program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf'] U19, MVLA U17, MVLA U16, MVLA U15, Mustang U14, and Mustang U13 teams who have won the conference and have qualified for ECNL Playoffs. All players on the roster play a role in such an achievement and have to be applauded. Here are a couple of players on each team who have been the most consistent this season.   [program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf'] U19 Season Standouts:    Travers will be looking to add an ECNL National Championship to her already impressive resume. She was one of 3 players who played every minute for the USA in the U17 World Cup. She is headed to one of the best programs in the country in the fall in Duke University. Can't give this young prospect enough praise her game has always impressed me.     The center back who is headed to Yale this fall had a very strong showing this season for her [program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf'] side. So many game saving tackles and blocks when her team needed her the most. Very calm and efficient in possession and has a physical profile built to succeed at the next level. Can she help put the cherry on top of her club career by adding a national championship?     Headed to San Francisco State in the fall Jurado has track speed. She loves going to ground in a slide tackle and wins most of them when she does. Can keep up with even the fastest wingers.     The Youth Mexican International is headed to the University of Washington in the Fall and is looking to help her [program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf'] team to a National Championship. She is an outstanding playmaker with exquisite close control and outstanding vision.     Extremely under rated goalkeeper who has incredible reactions and is an exceptional athlete. Very comfortable with the ball at her feet and her distribution is fantastic. The only knock against her is her height at 5'6 however her athleticism and IQ make up for it. She plays much bigger than she is.    MVLA U17 Season Standouts:    Currie unfortunately tore her ACL playing for the USA so she will not be available for ECNL playoffs in June. However, her importance to her squad this season cannot be understated and she is a major reason for yet another league championship for this side. The UNC commit is one of the best prospects in the 2026 class not just here in the USA but in my opinion the entire world. It's safe to say this MVLA team will not be the same with her sidelined. Wishing her a speedy recovery and best of luck during her rehab process.     The youth Chilean international is winning everything in her path it seems this year. She won the treble in high school and just won another Norcal Conference League title. Can the St Mary's commit complete this unprecedented success by winning an ECNL National Championship in July?     An elite outside back with boundless energy and shows strong quality and calmness on the ball. Very precise with her passing and has exceptional timing in her tackling. She has played a major role in her team's success this season.     Recently called into US Youth National Team Monberg thoroughly deserves the honor. She is a high energy attacking player with elite physical and technical qualities. She presses the opposition's back line like a demon possessed.    MVLA U16 Season Standouts:    Another league championship for Miller. With the USA Youth International leading the way her MVLA team has a legitimate shot at winning a National Championship come July. She's a superstar, Rolls-Royce, Total Package defender.     The young Goalkeeper is having an incredible couple of months. Starting for the impressive treble winning St Francis Lancers as a freshmen. And now an ECNL League Championship added to her resume a couple of months later. Can she make it 5 with an ECNL National Championship in July?     Fantastic young midfielder with a bright future played a major role in this MVLA teams success this season. She is the fulcrum in midfield keeping the ball moving and switching play with incredible proficiency.    U15 MVLA Standout Seasons:    One of if not the best defensive midfielder in the country in the 2027 class. She wins duel after duel defensively and is a line breaker offensively. She can beat you with a pass and on the dribble. It is shocking to me she doesn't get more Youth National Team looks.     Williams was rock solid for her MVLA side all season. She's so fast, even the fastest strikers struggle to get on the end of through balls if she is in the vicinity. Any great center back these days is able to dribble into space and facilitate positive plays and Tori is no exception. If she adds size to her frame in the next couple of years we could be seeing yet another national team center back out of this amazing club.     Technique queen, so calm and calculated on the ball. She quarterbacks this MVLA team's offense and she is a big reason why they have won the ECNL Norcal Conference. The offense flows through her. Yoshimura's touch, vision and tight space dribbling is up there with the best I've seen in the whole country in her age group.
