College Commitment Scout Grades

Incredible work. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is all happening so fast this year. 2026 &amp; 2027's are making their verbal commitments to different schools. I'd like to remind everyone that verbal commitments mean nothing until a letter of intent is signed. Players &amp; Programs flip their verbal commitments all the time throughout this process. It's a very interesting time in American Youth Women's Soccer, as players seem to be more eager to commit to schools than in past years. Many without even going on a visit to the school. Is this good thing for the programs and the players? Only time will tell.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a fascinating system where kids can commit their futures to a program a whole 2 years before they step on campus. I will be giving out grades to recent verbal commitments. Please keep in mind if you are reading this and you didn't get the grade you wanted. Please keep in mind, if you have committed to play at a Division 1, 2 or 3 soccer program you are a great soccer player. Only 7% of high schooler do what you have the opportunity to do. Not the only set of twins to commit to the same school. They are also similar players, with almost identical physical profiles and it will be tough to get both of them on the field at the same time especially early on in their collegiate careers. As many young Goalkeepers do when they first arrive Krichbaum will most likely be the back up for year 1 and then step in year 2 as the starter. A very under rated player who can shoot the lights out from anywhere inside 35 yards. Great athletic profile that is built to succeed at the next level. She is a big time scorer whom I think will win Freshmen of the Year in the this conference. I do worry about a Goalkeeper who is on such a great team and sees minimal action. However, when Nourse is called upon she more often than not makes a positive play. Like any true 9 she will only be as good as her service and must take advantage of her opportunities as UNH has struggled to score goals recently.
