Elle Sloan Elle Sloan 5'8" | F/M Carondelet | 2026 CA ‘s goal was one of the best I’ve seen throughout the year. Not only did it come at a perfect time, but it also set the tempo for which Carondelet played throughout the season. Her EPIC in this series is just one of the amazing goals I’ve witnessed during the Cougars’ run to the sectional playoffs. The other goals will have to wait, as this one takes center stage. The Houston commit got the only goal of the match. It was a nearly perfect goal that snuck past the goalkeeper with the slightest of margins. Elle provided pressure up top and made multiple runs on goal. Her ability to find soft spots on the field allows her to play without immediate pressure. She’s a smart and calculative player. She showed the ability to process the flow of the game quickly and make split-second decisions on attack. Her style of play will easily transition to the college level. While putting up 14 goals and 2 assists in her final year, the University of Houston commit should be proud of the Cougars’ run at an NCS Open title as the runner-up team to Bishop O’Dowd. They were definitely two of the best teams in the NorCal region this past year.

The Carondelet forward continued to put scores on the board. Elle scored both of the Cougars’ goals, with the first being one of the best I’ve seen all year. Her ability to shake off defenders and make quick cutbacks allowed her to get into high-percentage shooting range. I really like how she processes the flow of the game while making split-second decisions on attack. She has top-level finishing skills that will easily transition to the college level.

The University of Houston are getting a great addition in Sloan for 2026. A very under rated player who can shoot the lights out from anywhere inside 35 yards. Great athletic profile that is built to succeed at the next level. I like this fit a lot.

One thing I can always trust in a player is their ability to shoot. Sloan is a fantastic finisher who can pick out the corners with both feet when given a chance and can also beat a keeper with power if need be. She can play anywhere along the front line and thrives as a 9.

She has really developed as an attacking presser she forced the Foothill defenders into a ton of mistakes with her relentless pressure at their back line. She scored a wonderful goal in the bottom left corner from just inside the penalty area after a great run and pass from her teammate.

Sloan had herself a game on Sunday against Santa Rosa United. Scoring 4 goals and chipping in 2 assists in 50 minutes of playing time. Quite an efficient day for the young Carondelet striker.

This young attacker heads into the season with a lot to prove. She has the physical and athletic attributes to be great. She’s tall, fast and great on the dribble. When her confidence is up she can finish with the best of them. If she produces this season there will be a ton of collegiate interest moving forward.
