College Commitments Scout Grades 2025

Incredible work.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is all happening so fast this year. 2026 &amp; 2027's are making their verbal commitments to different schools. I'd like to remind everyone that verbal commitments mean nothing until a letter of intent is signed. Players &amp; Programs flip their verbal commitments all the time throughout this process. It's a very interesting time in American Youth Women's Soccer, as players seem to be more eager to commit to schools than in past years. Many without even going on a visit to the school. Is this good thing for the programs and the players? Only time will tell.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a fascinating system where kids can commit their futures to a program a whole 2 years before they step on campus. I will be giving out grades to recent verbal commitments. Please keep in mind if you are reading this and you didn't get the grade you wanted. Please keep in mind, if you have committed to play at a Division 1, 2 or 3 soccer program you are a great soccer player. Only 7% of high schooler do what you have the opportunity to do. She is a great target forward out of Phoenix Rising. She has great speed and an efficient finisher. Beede is headed to Milwaukee next year. I think coming from the heat of Arizona to the cold of Wisconsin will be a big adjustment. Cleveland Force have produced another talented attacking player headed to a Division 1 program. Very technically sound midfielder who can make a huge impact on both ends. She is a solid defender who is an impressive when making a tackle as her timing is excellent. Good on the ball and definitely room to grow/improve when she arrives on campus. Looking at the teams it looks to be a very difficult conference. I think in this new league with a smaller physical profile like Lorenzen she would thrive best at the 10 position. Difficult to compete at a high level otherwise.
