In this edition, NorCal high school players are the focus. All of these players have actively played year-round soccer, with a few of them playing multiple sports as well. With the amount of talent from this group, it is possible to get a state Gatorade Player of the Year from this series in a year or two. Since this is a heavy recruitment year for these players, scouts have already locked in on some of these players with offers ready to go on June 15th.High school coaches are excited to have them on their teams, as most, if not all, played a big part on their teams as freshmen.

Aside from their individual accomplishments, these players have contributed to the success of their high school teams at league championships, section titles, and NorCal (state) titles. The featured players for Part 1 are:

[player_tooltip player_id='111097' first='Chloe' last='Miller']

[player_tooltip player_id='199882' first='Vivian' last='Baker']

[player_tooltip player_id='202683' first='Jayla' last='Swindle']

[player_tooltip player_id='111113' first='Isabella' last='Rendino']

[player_tooltip player_id='262616' first='Aris' last='Yu']

[player_tooltip player_id='202653' first='Everleigh' last='Porter']

Featured Players:

#1 - [player_tooltip player_id='111097' first='Chloe' last='Miller'] - Archbishop Mitty - 2028 - Defender - #1 in the Nation, #1 in CA, and #1 in Position - Her team was ranked #13 in CA last year, with a 7-1-2 (2nd place) finish in league play and 19-3-3 overall. They were twice runners-up to the CCS Division I and NorCal Division I champions (Saint Francis) by the scores of (1-0) and (1-0). Those two losses by the slimmest of margins will be motivation for Chloe and her team to get back on track and make a run at the three titles. Chloe is a regular USYNT call-up, and she should be getting more looks at the higher age groups within the youth national teams as she gets stronger and has the ability to compete with the elite players. Chloe is also a recent ECNL National Champion as her MVLA G09 team captured a national title.

Impressive Long Range Shot by [player_tooltip player_id='111097' first='Chloe' last='Miller']

https://twitter.com/BayAreaSocScout/status/1896280086795755723

#2 - [player_tooltip player_id='199882' first='Vivian' last='Baker']—Archbishop Mitty - 2028 - Goalkeeper - #28 in the Nation, #27 in CA, and #3 in Position. They were twice runners-up to the CCS Division I and NorCal Division I champions (Saint Francis) by the scores of (1-0) and (1-0).Those two losses by the slimmest of margins will be motivation for Vivian and her team to get back on track and make a run at the three titles. Vivian is one of the best goalkeepers in the 2028 class. She is in the USYNT player pool, with showings at the U15 ODP Interregional and U16 PDP State teams. Would love to see her given an opportunity to get a USYNT call-up. Vivian was also the WCAL (West Catholic Athletic League) Goalkeeper of the Year award winner.

Her team was ranked #13 in CA last year, with a 7-1-2 (2nd place) finish in league play and 19-3-3 overall. Her team came in 3rd at 11-4-1 and 12-5-1 overall. She is a highly decorated player who won the Sierra Delta League Offensive MVP as a freshman. Her 46 goals and 14 assists for Vacaville Christian are something to note. I've also covered at least 6 of Jayla's ECNL matches, and she definitely stands out. My favorite part of her game is her ability to stay calm under pressure. Her crisp passes and slicing past defenders are very impressive. Looking forward to evaluating her in high school competition, as she will be gunning for another MVP title and possibly a section title. Jayla will be playing for Vacaville High School this year, and I expect her to pick up where she left off and help her team to achieve high levels of success.

She is a highly decorated player who won the Sierra Delta League Offensive MVP as a freshman. She is a top-tier LCB in the class of 2028. Izzy was a starter and a big part of the Cardinal Newman championship run for the North Coast Division 2 championship. I picked the Cardinals as an underdog with the talent and chemistry to win it all. They delivered at every match as they took down the top 4 ranked teams in the tournament. It was great to evaluate her during her team's match at the national playoffs. Seeing her on a new club team ([program_tooltip program_id='283312' first='Davis' last='Legacy']) was a treat. As a U-17 member of the Panama national team, she will have to wait until opportunities present themselves, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing her playing at other top-level events and contributing to future success with the Cardinals.

She is a top-tier LCB in the class of 2028.
