Top 5 Goals – Certified ECNL/GA Finishers – Part 1

In my first year as a Prep Soccer Scout and writer, I was able to capture some sensational goals during the later stages of the ECNL 2024-2025 season. Here are my top 5 goals for the Girls NorCal season. Some of the matches were from games just before the National Playoffs, and some are as recent as the beginning of the Fall 2025-2026 season. The players featured are top-level scorers with a couple of college commits, while some are getting ready for the upcoming recruitment year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Included are some players you will probably hear more about in the upcoming high school season and ECNL and GA showcases. I've always liked seeing great goals, and with this group, you will not be disappointed. Her ability to take players on in 1v1s outside the 18 makes her dangerous once she steps in or if she has a clear shot on goal. She also has a burst of speed to get past defenders. Her first goal was probably the best of the bunch, as she made a great run while weaving through the defense. She finished with a rocket shot past the GK. She's a certified finisher who can score in bunches. One came on an assist from a corner kick in goal #1, and the other was a perfect set-piece goal rising over the wall and dipping right below the crossbar. She is a top-level player about to get more recognition at the high school and ECNL level. Maia had a great set-piece goal from just outside the 18.She drove a hard line drive shot that just cleared the wall to the upper left side. She is a certified scorer, and I've covered at least two other matches in which she scored 2 or more goals, including this match in which she scored 4 of her team's 7 goals.
