Girl’s College Commitment Scout Grades

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A lot of big names have come off the board recently. It's been really difficult to keep up with all of this! A lot of film is watched. I do my absolute best.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I have to give a big shout out to @ImYouthSoccer Instagram page for keeping up with these names flying off the board. Incredible work.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is all happening so fast this year. 2026 &amp; 2027's are making their verbal commitments to different schools. I'd like to remind everyone that verbal commitments mean nothing until a letter of intent is signed. Players &amp; Programs flip their verbal commitments all the time throughout this process. It's a very interesting time in American Youth Women's Soccer, as players seem to be more eager to commit to schools than in past years. Many without even going on a visit to the school. Is this a good thing for the programs and the players? Only time will tell.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a fascinating system where kids can commit their futures to a program a whole 2 years before they step on campus. I will be giving out grades to recent verbal commitments. Please keep in mind if you are reading this and you didn't get the grade you wanted. Please keep in mind, if you have committed to play at a Division 1, 2 or 3 soccer program you are a great soccer player. Only 7% of high schooler do what you have the opportunity to do. These grades are based on overall fit, style of play/positional need of that particular program, how the program is doing this season and if I believe the commitment will last 4-5 years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I also encourage players to make their highlight reel easy to access for scouts to evaluate on your social media profiles. Amazing club pedigree with TopHat and ranked in the top 40 in the competitive state of Georgia. The midfielder has been with the El Salvadorian National Team and goes to Buford where she won all league honors. The owls have really struggled on the road this season although quite good at home. After watching the PA Classics midfielder she looks really under ranked and underrated to me. She is an athletic, versatile attacking player who drives towards goal with real purpose any chance she gets. Very strong in 50-50 situations and opposition defenders seem to bounce off her leaving many of them on the ground. She is a Northwest Conference ECNL 1st All-Conference selection and has an excellent athletic profile that is built to succeed in the Big Sky. You have to trust the recruiting of a squad that is 6-2-2 overall in a very competitive AAC and a challenging out of conference schedule. Headed from the Pacific Northwest to Tampa Florida will definitely be a climate adjustment but the young goalkeeper has what it takes to succeed. Few freshmen get to start right away but I think Reynolds has the ability to. The Top 10 Florida talent is going to be a problem for SEC opposition for years to come. She's a fast, physical #9 who can finish at a high clip. FC Prime have developed a top talent who has every chance to get time right away for the Dawgs.
