Girl’s College Commitment Scout Grades Chapter 48

Some will be happy, others might be pissed off and eager to prove me wrong.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I have to give a big shout out to @ImYouthSoccer Instagram page for keeping up with these names flying off the board. Incredible work.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is all happening so fast this year. 2026 &amp; 2027's are making their verbal commitments to different schools. I'd like to remind everyone that verbal commitments are not official until a letter of intent is signed. Players &amp; Programs flip their verbal commitments all the time throughout this process.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a very interesting time in American Youth Women's Soccer, as players seem to be more eager to commit to schools than in past years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a fascinating system where kids can commit their futures to a program a whole 2 years before they step on campus. I will be giving out grades to recent commitments. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Please keep in mind if you are reading this and you didn't get the grade you wanted. If you have committed to play at a Division 1, 2 or 3 soccer program you are a great soccer player. Only 7% of high schoolers do what you have the opportunity to do. These grades are based on overall fit, style of play/positional need of that particular program, how the program is performing and if I believe the commitment will last 4-5 years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I also encourage players to make their highlight reels easy to access for scouts to evaluate on their social media platforms. The Huskies are having a good season so far at 11-2-5 looking like a lock to make the NCAA Tournament. I couldn't find any game highlights of Nunez just some private training videos where she showed excellent technique. The NDC Ontario talent really impressed me on film. She is scrappy, two-footed, technically gifted, and an excellent ball winner. One of the best facilitators I have evaluated in the 2027 class. Excellent on the half turn and knows when to go forward or circulate the ball backwards. I do have some climate concerns with this move but other then that the Panthers have got themselves an integral piece to build their program around. Kellerman has just committed to Fairfield University who is flying this season with 14 wins and their first ever top 25 ranking in program history this week. Kellerman has excellent pedigree. Playing for the Peru Youth National team as well as an excellent [program_tooltip program_id='283391' first='LA' last='Surf'] team. She is an amazing tackler and an exceptional physical presence on the defensive end. She is great in possession and can ping a long ball that most male players would be proud of. She is one of the best center backs I have evaluated. The Ireland Youth International and CESA talent is headed to Georgetown in 2026. She is extremely versatile able to play pretty much all 10 outfield positions. She is a tidy finisher and tier 1 athlete electing to place rather than overpower her shots. The Hoyas have been exceptional this season currently sitting at 13-2-2 and looking like a shoe in to qualify for the postseason. At 7-6-5 the Tigers will need to win the SWAC Tournament to make the postseason.
