Undefeated and Determined – LA Breakers FC ECNL G08/07

They are currently undefeated at 3-0-2 and hope to keep it going before the end of the fall season.&nbsp; It would be great to see this talented group of players compete in their final year of high school as well as gear up for the spring season before going on to the collegiate level.&nbsp; Two of the players featured have already made their college commitments, and it is just a matter of time before the remaining few make theirs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They seem to have had players on this team for quite a while, and the team chemistry is starting to show, as their records indicate.&nbsp; Many of the players have received ECNL regional as well as all-league 1st and 2nd team recognitions.&nbsp; Also, a few of them previously had standout high school seasons and led their team to league championships and playoff runs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Although this Breakers team might not have received the recognition as other top-level teams, I will go out on a limb and say that this will be a team competing for a spot in the national playoffs at season's end.&nbsp; She scored 23 goals during her Junior year of high school.&nbsp; Previous scout Matt Smith said, “Derby shows fantastic instincts, top notch ball skills and clinical finishing ability.&nbsp; She reads play very well, and ends up winning the ball often because she understands how the play is developing on the pitch.” Based on video footage, she can score comfortably with both feet and can go up high for heading in goals.&nbsp;
