Girl’s Cali High School Coverage: Super Sophomores

There have been some amazing Sophomore standouts up and down California so far this season. Her Wildcats side is 5-4-2 which is puzzling have such a prolific stat stuffer like Hidalgo. She has 23 goals and 3 assists in 13 games played thus far this season. Crazy to say that her output hasn't lead to more wins for her side. They sit at 5-6-2 and look unlikely to make a playoff run. The defender has not only been dominant on the defensive end shutting down attacks she is also starting her own. She has 14 goals and 7 assists so far this season for the 71st ranked team in the state according to MaxPreps. Her Carondelet side just got back competing against the top ranked teams in Texas over the break winter break. She has 2 goals and 6 assists as a defensive midfielder. This Cougars program is ranked 47th in the state which is the highest ranked team of any player on this list.
