The 2026 WCAL Women’s Soccer Players of the Year

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>The Saint Francis girls' program produced the defender and forward of the year as well as the 2025-2026 Player of the Year—Caitlin Motil.</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>USE THE PROMO CODE almasin30 for a discount on your first subscription</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Saint Francis led the way for the West Catholic Athletic League (WCAL) by dominating league play with another undefeated back-to-back season for a first-place finish at 11-0-1. The overall record for this Lancers squad ended their season at 19-2-1. Finishing as the runners-up this season at the CCS Division I title match against Los Gatos, they put up a great fight while falling in a 4-3 penalty shootout.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Their only other loss of the season came against Buchanan in the opening round of the state Division I opener. Although they did not get the results they wanted, the Lancers accomplished another 19 or more win season and added another WCAL title to the trophy case.
