The U.S. U-17 Women's National Team opened qualifiers with a 19 to 0 statement win yes, you read that right. The entire squad deserves recognition for a dominant performance. Here are a few key U17 players we believe will be ones to watch throughout the year.    Deus is a re-classed midfielder who is signed to UNC. She scored in 2 out of 3 matches. Using her speed, she consistently created opportunities for the U.S. and stretched the game wide. She capped off her performances with a brace against Bermuda.     Madeline played a key role in helping the U.S. advance to the World Cup, leading the team with five assists. Her ability to recognize the right pass and exploit space consistently created better scoring opportunities for her teammates. It's a quality that often goes overlooked. Mia is a midfielder who's tough to track because she's quite literally everywhere. She constantly creates problems. Whether she's out wide or central, she looks to get on the score sheet. She did just that. Scoring in the opening game and in the last. Her awareness of space makes her dangerous, as even the slightest opening can turn into a goal. That was obvious in her strike in the 36th minute against Puerto Rico.     The Solar SC forward was crucial in the high-scoring win against Bermuda. She made her presence felt even beyond the score sheet. She finished with a goal in that match. She followed it up with a standout performance against Haiti. She recorded a hat-trick and consistently posed a threat in the final third. Her movement, positioning, and ability to find space made her a constant problem for defenders throughout the tournament.
