MLS Next Flex U16 Dynamic Forwards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The city of Frisco, Texas, recently staged six action-packed days of soccer, with Toyota Soccer Center hosting the 2026 MLS Next Flex tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The event featured 304 teams from all over the country and qualified 76 of them for the MLS Next Cup Playoffs, which will be held from May 23-31 in Salt Lake City, Utah.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Soccer was in North Texas for two days, and I got to watch many of the most loaded and talented teams in the country in action.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong><a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2026/04/mls-next-flex-friday-photos-u19-u16/">MLS Next Flex: Friday U19/U16 Photos</a></strong></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>During our time there, many prospects delivered standout performances and showed tremendous potential for the future of their careers. Now, with the event completed, we're going over several of them. The winger is very active on the right side of their attack and frequently makes good plays out wide for them. Ocampo is very direct and aggressive on the ball, showing interesting creativity with his dribbling, and also keeps opposing backlines under pressure with his runs in behind. A left winger, he was one of their main attacking options and helped his team create many goalscoring opportunities. Very quick and technical, Cannizzaro stayed very wide on the left, isolating himself so he could take opponents 1v1 and deliver accurate crosses into the box. The team's striker, he showed a very complete game in the attacking half, being capable of executing different actions at a high level. Luccin is an elite finisher and consistently gets into great spots to score, thanks to his excellent positioning and his ability to remain onside when making runs behind the backline. The left-footed forward made a major impact offensively for them, delivering goals and creating plays. Carmona plays mainly on the right and is very hard to dispossess, using his body well to shield the ball and being very quick and creative to execute dribbles in transition or 1v1. A physically powerful and technically skilled attacking player, he was very active up top for the Lions, being one of their main offensive options. Capable of playing on the wing or centrally, Atali is very hard to stop when he gets going because he covers ground extremely well and is very direct with his runs.
