During our time there, many prospects delivered standout performances and showed tremendous potential for the future of their careers. Now, with the event completed, we're going over several of them. We continue our coverage with the U19 Division, and those were the players who stood out among the midfielders:

Alvarez played for the [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] team that was third in Group N with a win and two losses. He plays a key role in the team with his two-way game, occupying one of the three midfield spots for them. Alvarez likes to drop deeper to help initiate attacking plays with his passing and vision, but also steps into the final third to finish chances and deliver final passes. He competes for the ball on defense and helps his team occupy the center of the field.

Medina featured for the LA Galaxy team that ended up in second place in Group M after getting a win, a loss and a tie. An attacking-minded player, he's very good at creating space with his dribbling and immediately taking advantage of it to take the ball forward. A lefty, Medina drives the ball well and is very difficult to dispossess. He also makes a major impact in the attacking half, making the right choices when on the ball and executing difficult passes to get it to his teammates.

Telakowski was a key piece in the New York Red Bulls' qualification in Group F, obtained with three victories. A creative attacking midfielder, he got on the ball a lot and facilitated many of his team's offensive plays with intelligent, first-time passes. Telakowski fluctuated very well on the field, moving well between the lines and consistently finding pockets of space to get on the ball. The midfielder makes good runs through the middle, showing great dribbling ability, and gets into the box to finish chances.

Jardines helped Atlanta United thrive in Group H, qualifying with a win and two ties. A defensive midfielder, he demonstrates great energy and intensity to shield the team's backline, going hard in tackles and winning the ball more often than not. Jardines is also very intelligent and dynamic on the ball, not keeping it for too long and doing a good job of moving it from one side of the field to the other. He does well when supporting the offense, too, getting in position to fire shots from outside the box and infiltrating on the right side of the attack.

Bolanos and the [program_tooltip program_id='283657' first='Houston' last='Dynamo'] had to settle for second in Group L with two wins and a tie. He's a very important player in their system with his ability to play multiple positions at a high level - he can be used in central defense, in midfield and even as an outside back. Bolanos is very solid defensively, standing out for his positioning and the timing of his tackles. He's also very clean on the ball and gets to impact the game with his passing, both when leading the team's buildup or when operating in a more advanced role in the attacking half.
