Five Forwards to Know From the New Texas 2030 Girls Rankings

<p>After several months of research and scouting, Prep Soccer Texas is proud to release the newest version of its 2030 Girls State Rankings. The Rankings are a step forward from the previous original version, which had all players on a watch list; now the top 60 prospects in the Lone Star State are ranked by potential.</p>   <p>The rankings will continue to be consistently updated so they accurately reflect the progress achieved by players over time and present a clear picture of the Texas landscape, always keeping in mind each prospect's potential to make an impact at the next level.</p>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li><strong><a href="https://prepsoccer.com/texas/rankings/girls/2030-rankings/">Texas 2030 Girls State Rankings</a></strong></li> </ul>   <p>The new version of Texas 2030 Girls State Rankings feature 100 players from every corner of the Lone Star State, and we're taking the week to present you with some of the most intriguing names that made the list. These forwards are lethal in the final third and typically produce at a great rate for their teams.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Hodge is the top overall prospect in the Class of 2030 in Texas. A USYNT regular, she stars for [program_tooltip program_id='342634' first='FC' last='Westlake'] in the ECNL League at the club level. A winger who plays primarily on the left, Hodge is a threat every time she has the ball. She has incredibly quick feet and is very creative and unpredictable with her dribbling. The forward is extremely dangerous in open space, but also makes things happen when defended by multiple opponents, smoothly squeezing past them to get the ball into the box. She attends Hill Country Christian School and plays club soccer with [program_tooltip program_id='283397' first='[program_tooltip program_id='278668' first='Lonestar' last='']' last='SC'] in the ECNL League. Frequently called for USYNT camps, Minyard is a forward with superior playmaking skills who does a great job of consistently finding the ball in great spots in the attacking half and getting involved in the team's chance-creation efforts. She's a key piece in [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas']' offense in the ECNL League. Walker's game is extremely versatile and allows her to play different roles in the attack. She has the passing vision and the intelligence to drop deeper to get on the ball and feed her teammates in the final third while also being capable of featuring as a striker and doing a great job with her positioning and finishing inside the penalty box. She's part of [program_tooltip program_id='283317' first='[program_tooltip program_id='280767' first='DKSC' last='']' last='']'s squad in the ECNL League, being one of the team's top players. Carrillo is mostly used as a winger but has the traits of an attacking midfielder, being very skilled and intelligent when it comes to creating chances. She typically plays on the left, and the spot seems like a great fit for her game, as it allows her to beat opponents off the dribble when isolated 1v1 and to deliver final passes after bringing the ball inside. She represents the [program_tooltip program_id='283311' first='Dallas' last='Texans'] in the ECNL League at the club level. McGrath operates very well as the focal point of her team's offense, using her strong hold-up play to make turns on defenders and combine with her teammates. She also has a good presence inside the box, often getting to the end of crosses to finish chances.
