Three FC Dallas Players to Watch in the MLS Next Season

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Just over two months after completing its 2025-2026 season, the MLS Next League returned to action this past weekend, with the first games of 2026-2027 taking place all over the country.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For another season, Prep Soccer Texas will be following the league closely and providing wide coverage of the Lone Star State prospects, which will include match reports, player analysis and photo galleries.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the season just starting, we'd like to highlight a few players from each Texas team who could be set for strong performances. He's currently recovering from knee surgery and will miss the start of the season, but should boost their offense when he's back in action. A center forward, Bruno knows his way in the final third, often dropping back a little bit to get involved in attacking plays and making well-timed runs behind the backline. He has good quality on the ball, beating opponents off the dribble in tight spaces, and is physical enough to endure challenges. He could be part of their U17 team, but will most likely feature for their U19 squad, if not with North Texas SC in the MLS Next Pro League. A very technical and intelligent central midfielder, Ros does a great job of controlling the pace of the game with his smart and efficient distribution. He also handles pressure very well, sending opponents the wrong way with body feints and creating space for him to operate in the center of the field. He's been training with their senior team recently and is among the most promising goalkeepers in the country. With a great combination of length and technical skills, Jaimes Martinez is very hard to beat between the posts and also does well when he needs to leave his spot to claim crosses.
