Cheeseboro was quite literally a last-minute addition to the starting lineup. She showed up Saturday morning, little more than an hour before the match and delivered a sensational shutout half in goal. Cheeseboro was effective in coming off her line to thwart West attacks and she showed a great range of shot-stopping plays, including a low diving save to her left that denied what appeared to be a sure goal.
