All-Orange County Area boys team

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Orange County has what is probably the strongest boys soccer league in the state, in the Trinity League, and one of the best in the country. To put it in perspective, the only two at-large teams in the Southern Section playoffs were the third and fourth place teams from this league, and both of those teams, Servite and Orange Lutheran, beat nothing but league champions to make the final. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And that is just the Trinity League as there is talent all over Orange County, just adding to the true narrative that Southern California is the most talented area of the state, and perhaps the country.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>KEEPER:</strong> Talin Morgan was a first-team all-league player for Servite, and he was single-handedly responsible for winning several matches for the Friars. He averaged an astounding 4.6 saves per match and had 119 saves on the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DEFENDERS:</strong> A pair of teammates make up most of this group as the San Clemente partnership of Jacob Poole and Finn Linas gave the Tritons a stout defense. Linas, who is committed to play at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, is a versatile player who plays in the midfield as well. Poole is heading to play at George Washington. Mater Dei junior Avian Gonzalez Flores makes the third defender and has not chosen a school yet, but will be highly sought after.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>MIDFIELDERS:</strong> Three seniors who are college commits and a sophomore make up this group. Justin Cuevas, an immensely impactful player for Servite is going to play at Concordia next year. Xavier Alcantar has been the talisman for the Orange Lutheran program for years and he is heading to play at UNC Ashville next year. Michael Cherico, the heart and soul of the Mater Dei team, will play at Amherst. The sophomore is the immensely talented Mater Dei player, [player_tooltip player_id='83140' first='Ayden' last='Romo'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>FORWARDS:</strong> Senior Steven Sorto of Godinez Fundamental, who is heading to UC Santa Barbara, is one of the three forwards as he is joined by Canyon senior Tyson Smith who scored 22 goals and was an All-CIF player.
