Gutierrez and her FC Dallas ECNL 07 team got a pair of wins in the event and their defense allowed just two goals in those matches. The goalkeeper has the privilege of playing behind one of the strongest backlines of the state, but she is always ready to step up and make plays when needed, be it dealing with crosses or handling long-distance shots. Gutierrez is also very calm and efficient on the ball, making good decisions with her passing and executing them precisely. There was nothing she could have done to avoid the goal she conceded in a 3-1 win over Lonestar SC Red 07 GA as the shot that beat her went right into the upper corner.
