Expert Analysis
Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
One of the several talented players in the Ridge Point team that played in the State Championship game, Richardson was among the roster’s most productive offensive players. She’s always very aggressive and direct on the final third, getting on the ball and immediately looking for a way to create a chance for herself or a teammate. Her game is also very complete, as Richardson is strong at beating opponents off the dribble, sending through passes that find teammates in good spots and also finishing from distance. She also uses her body well to shield the ball and win 50-50 plays in the middle.

Another talented midfielder with excellent offensive instincts, Richardson is a big part of Ridge Point’s attacking. The University of Houston commit is really dangerous around and inside the penalty box because of her complete game. Richardson is great at dribbling, passing and finishing from distance, so there’s really no good way to defend her. She’s also very aggressive and direct on the ball, giving defenders little time to get in position to try to stop her. The midfielder also has a solid frame and often wins physical plays in the center of the field.

Richardson was in excellent form in her midfielder role, creating chances for her teammates and repeatedly getting in position to finish. She was very aggressive on the ball and always looked to push it forward, be it with solo plays or by combining with her teammates. The midfielder displayed great vision to connect passes and even better finishing skills, scoring from outside the box twice with a beautiful shot and getting inside the penalty box to finish.
