Ranking Analysis: High upside talent from New Jersey

The Prep Soccer state rankings for New Jersey's freshman class was released this week. There were a number of talents who stood out from the rankings as prospects that could develop into top level stars. Below is a scouting report on some of the players with the most potential from the rankings.    Loureiro is a defender on the CSA Bergen 2010 Girls Academy team. She was part of the Girls Academy Talent ID event in the Northeast last season. She is a physical defender who is not afraid of contact. She has elite recovery speed and a fearless attitude on the pitch. Loureiro has been a standout at the club level for her tough defending.     Forward on the PDA 2010 ECNL team. She is having a stellar freshman season for the undefeated Rutgers Prep team. It's difficult to deny the impact and potential of the center forward. As a freshman, she is a dominant force with the strength to hold off much older defenders and the pace to get past them. She has combined well with some of the top talent in the state from other classes to take on a key role with her high school team. Lormil is a name you will hear a lot more often in the future.     Rogers is a defender on the PDA Blue 2010 ECNL team. She plays outside back for PDA. She is a left back. She stood out at the ECNL playoffs for her 1v1 defending ability. She is a physical player who uses her body well and stays light on her feet to quickly adjust her positioning. Rogers is comfortable on the ball and a weapon in the build-up with her good decision-making. She has the player profile of an outside back who could contribute early at the next level.     Bodyziak is a five-foot-ten forward/striker on the Montville Varsity squad. She's one of the leading scorers in the state with 15 goals on the campaign. She's done it consistently as well with nearly a goal per game over the course of the season. She's developed a back-to-the-goal style of play to succeed against older competition. She is excellent at pinning defenders on her hip and spinning off of them when she sees an opportunity for a through pass from a teammate. For a freshman, Bodyziak's feel for the game and her combination with her teammates seems pretty advance, which should be a credit to the coaching at both the club and high school level. She plays for STA 09 Girls Academy at the club level. She has been part of the Girls Academy Talent ID events in the past. She is just scratching the surface for her potential. She has all of the tools to be one of the top players in the state in this class.     Friedman is a small, technical midfielder on the PDA 2010 ECNL team. She is a high engine/activity player. She covers a ton of ground in the game and gets stuck into tackles. She also constantly works to get open for her teammates. She has a good first touch and cleans up possessions for her side. She is good at combining with her fellow midfielders to break pressure against the opposition.     Alvarez is a do-everything player on the Pleasantville Varsity team. She is a key piece of the team's turnaround this season after a few years of disappointing results. Alvarez can play center back or center midfield for her varsity team. She is a dominant force at that level. She has scored a ton of goals this season - many of them coming on corner kicks as she is always in the right spot to head home the service. The tall, versatile player could be a top prospect to watch from this class she has shown during her rookie season.     Dugenio is a center back who had an excellent showing during the ECNL playoffs. She was always in the right spot to help her team. She played as the left center back and looked great on the ball. She made some excellent passes. PDA's exquisite defense is thanks to the balance between the four across the line, but Dugenio's timely interceptions certainly help set the tone for that group.     Ytreboe is an outside back on the Cedar Stars Academy Monmouth GA team. She can play either right or left back. She is a scrappy player. She's earned a key role on her varsity team this season. She puts in a good battle whenever she is the on-ball defender. She is tenacious in her approach and has a never-quit attitude. She offers quality in the attack as well. She is a good passer and can play in a good ball to create chances for her side.     Napolitani has consistently been a top scorer at the club level. She is an attacking midfielder or a winger. She has a strong right foot and the ability to drill a shot from over 30 yards out into the upper corner of the goal. She is an efficient finisher and does well with the timing of her runs at the far post when playing on the wing. Napolitani is a difficult mark for outside backs with her pace. She is an excellent two-way player. She's displayed a toughness when battling against older, more physical competition. She has never shied away from a challenge. She's been impactful in the press for her side, and also as a finisher. She looks to have a future as a winger or as a wingback. Reibarkh has shown the soccer smarts and the determination to put herself firmly on the radar for scouts.
