ECNL Texas: Difference-making midfielders in the 10s division

Despite the results, the team was strong offensively, scoring five goals in three matches, and the attacking midfielder was one of the main reasons for it. Playing the No. 10 role in a 2-2 tie with the Real Colorado National, Perrotta was very dynamic in the final third, moving around to get on the ball and displaying great vision to connect with her teammates. She had a great performance on Sunday, when her team fell to Sting Black 3-2. A defensive midfielder, Berrutti did a lot of hard work for Eclipse in the center of the field, playing aggressively and with tremendous intensity off the ball. I was in attendance when they tied Richmond United 1-1 on Sunday and saw her make a major impact on the team's game with her play. A lefty, McGowan operated as a central midfielder for them, appearing well on both sides of the ball. She had a solid performance off the bench on Sunday, when the Dallas side lost to Chicago Inter Soccer 1-0. DKSC became a much more dynamic team in the center of the field after Perez got it as she contributed to their offense with her impressive technical skills. I was able to catch their 2-0 victory over Washington Premier on Sunday and enjoyed her quickness in the final third. A small and intelligent player, Hernandez didn't need much on the ball to make an impact and didn't keep for any longer than she needed. The attacking midfielder was excellent at appearing in spots where she could make an impact in the game and connected several smart one-time passes. Her team scored an impressive 13 goals in three matches and, playing the No. 10 role, the attacking midfielder played a major role in their outstanding offensive performance. Goncalves is a very creative playmaker, who uses her intelligence and her vision to make a difference in the final third. On Sunday, in their 4-0 win over SLSG Green, she was excellent at feeding her teammates in the attacking half, picking the best passing options over and over again.
