Rodriguez appears in second place among the defenders and ranks tenth overall after the update. A center back, she plays high school soccer for South Grand Prairie and is with Solar SC in the ECNL League at the club level. Combining great size and strong defensive skills, she anchors her team’s backline, playing with impressive efficiency and consistency. Rodriguez handles physical duels well and is dominant when defending the penalty box, but is also hard to beat in other areas of the field, often forcing opponents to play back or go wide with the amount of pressure she puts on them. The center back is also a big asset in possession, distributing the ball intelligently out of the back and competently stepping into the attacking half to make plays when she sees the space.

Rodriguez was one of the pillars in the Solar SC ECNL G11 team that won the U16 Division with an undefeated campaign. Solar didn’t concede any goals in the event, and she was decisive in the success of their defensive system, delivering an excellent performance in their most challenging match of the week, a 1-0 win over FC Dallas ECNL G10 in the group phase. Rodriguez was often matched up with Alaia Harrington Alaia Harrington 5'9" | M/F Allegiance Soccer Academy | 2028 #22 Nation TX and did a good job against Dallas’ star forward, holding her own in physical duels and avoiding that she turned and faced the goal. The center back also demonstrated quality on the ball to initiate the team’s buildup and stepped into the attacking half on some occasions, firing a dangerous shot from outside the box.

Rodriguez was one of the standouts of the Solar squad. The center back helped the squad advance to the quarterfinals with only two goals conceded over the four games. Rodriguez was a bright spot in the Round of 16 with her distribution.
