Congratulations to all who have made their commitments. Now it's time for a scout grade. Some will be happy, others might be pissed off and eager to prove me wrong.

I have to give a big shout out to @ImYouthSoccer Instagram page for keeping up with these names flying off the board. Incredible work.

It is all happening so fast this year. 2026 & 2027's are making their verbal commitments to different schools. I'd like to remind everyone that verbal commitments are not official until a letter of intent is signed. Players & Programs flip their verbal commitments all the time throughout this process.

It's a very interesting time in American Youth Women's Soccer, as players seem to be more eager to commit to schools than in past years.

It's a fascinating system where kids can commit their futures to a program a whole 2 years before they step on campus. I will be giving out grades to recent commitments.

Please keep in mind if you are reading this and you didn't get the grade you wanted. If you have committed to play at a Division 1, 2 or 3 soccer program you are a great soccer player. Only 7% of high schoolers do what you have the opportunity to do. These grades are based on overall fit, style of play/positional need of that particular program, how the program is performing and if I believe the commitment will last 4-5 years.

I also encourage players to make their highlight reels easy to access for scouts to evaluate on their social media platforms. If you have committed and have not received a grade and want one please reach out via email nikolai@evolvesportsgroup.com

Top 10 talent out of Missouri is headed to Elon University in 2027. The Sporting Blue Valley Midfielder has excellent feet, great vision, and really good on the half turn offensively. Defensively Crabtree is an elite ball winner, and really embraces contact. The Phoenix have been on a tear recently unbeaten in their last 8 games and face Stony Brook in the CAA Championship this weekend with a trip to the NCAA Tournament on the line. Excellent fit.

The Olympus High School talent is headed to Utah Tech with her twin sister Keira Bradley. The Trailblazers are 8-7-4 this season headed into the WAC Tournament needing two wins to get an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. I couldn't find much film on either of these young players but I do really like what Utah Tech has brought into their program as of late so I have to trust these two players are no different.

Cervantes is taking her talents to Colorado State in 2027. The USA Futsal International lives up to that title she has insane foot skills. The [program_tooltip program_id='283641' first='De' last='Anza Force'] product is headed to a program that just concluded their season losing 1-0 in the Mountain West Tournament. There is definitely room for optimism though as they achieved a 10 win season and have some excellent pieces moving forward. Really good fit.

The [program_tooltip program_id='283312' first='Davis' last='Legacy'] Goalkeeper is staying in the Northern California and headed St Mary's University in 2026. One of the top shot stoppers in her class McLin took a while to make her decision but finally decided on the Gael's. She is as solid as they come with no glaring weaknesses and a tall long frame that she definitely utilizes well. As a program St Mary's have had an excellent season thus far and with two more wins they will win the WCC outright and qualify for the NCAA Tournament. I think this is an outstanding fit and Mclin could be a day 1 starter as soon as she arrives on campus.

Excellent player from up state New York is headed to Stony Brook University to continue her academic and athletic career. Petrus has a great shot and is extremely creative with the ball at her feet. She is also an excellent athlete that projects to do very well at the division 1 level. The Seawolves have an opportunity to continue their season with a win this weekend in the CAA Championship against Elon. With 12 wins already this season as a program Stony Brook seem to be headed in the right direction and this pick up is no different. Great fit.
