Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
Robertson was with the Challenge SC team that had a win and a loss over the weekend in North Texas. She lined up as a right back in their 2-1 loss to Kansas City Athletics and had a solid shift in the backline for them. Robertson did well defensively, reading plays efficiently to intercept passes and keeping opponents under pressure when defending 1v1 out wide. The outside back also had a good presence in the attacking half, covering ground to join the offense in no time and distributing good passes in the final third.

Robertson impressed as one of the best outside backs from the event. She was superb in her defending in 1v1 situations on the wing. She won the duel when challenged on the dribble. She intercepted passes with her positioning. She was also good at blocking crosses.
Robertson can serve a great pass too. She hits it with accuracy and can hit a wide-range of passes. There’s a lot of top qualities to Robertson’s game.

Robertson plays for the Challenge SC G10 team that will face Florida Elite, Match Fit Academy Shore RL and Maryland United FC over the weekend. Capable of playing anywhere across the backline, she typically appears at left back for them, providing great stability out wide. An extremely athletic player, she stands out defensively, using her big frame to win duels and intercept passes and her pace to track opponents around the penalty box. Robertson also does good work in possession, displaying great vision to connect passes out of the back, and often catches opponents off guard with her diagonal runs into the attacking penalty box to finish chances.

Robertson started the match at left back and had a solid defensive performance. She used her height to cut passes over the top and displayed good mobility and defensive skills to win duels and recover the ball. Robertson didn’t push forward very often, but when she did, she was able to get into dangerous spots, making diagonal runs into the penalty box. She also displayed calm and confidence on the ball, avoiding unnecessary long passes and keeping things simple. In the second half, when Challenge switched their formation to have three in the back, she played a left-sided center back and continued to perform at a high level.
