Top player. Alberts has an extremely bright future indeed. She’s tall, fast, two footed and has incredible defensive instincts. She seemed to figure out her opponents as the game went on. Headed to Northwestern in the fall Alberts has the potential to have an incredible collegiate and professional career.

Audrey Alberts Audrey Alberts null | D Highland Park | 2025 State #39 Nation IL is one of those players that coaches appreciate way more than stats or highlights. She makes winning plays consistently on the field. She has been a center back at the club level for a number of years, but we’ve also seen her play in an outside back role at Talent Identification events. She has the type of versatility to realistically play spot in a back four. Viewing her only as a center back, she is an intelligent player with good tactical acumen. She is one of the best at reading the play and being in the right spot. She has shown that she is comfortable on the ball under pressure and does well with body feints to fool the opposition – especially in transition. At outside back, she is a star at shutting down wingers in 1v1 situations. She does well in the build-up with her passing to find outlets in midfield. She was outstanding for FC United 07 during the GA Playoffs over the summer.
