Audrey Alberts Audrey Alberts null | D Highland Park | 2025 State #47 Nation IL is one of those players that coaches appreciate way more than stats or highlights. She makes winning plays consistently on the field. She has been a center back at the club level for a number of years, but we’ve also seen her play in an outside back role at Talent Identification events. She has the type of versatility to realistically play spot in a back four. Viewing her only as a center back, she is an intelligent player with good tactical acumen. She is one of the best at reading the play and being in the right spot. She has shown that she is comfortable on the ball under pressure and does well with body feints to fool the opposition – especially in transition. At outside back, she is a star at shutting down wingers in 1v1 situations. She does well in the build-up with her passing to find outlets in midfield. She was outstanding for FC United 07 during the GA Playoffs over the summer.
Highlights
Fiona Mahan Fiona Mahan null | M Avonworth | 2025 State #16 Nation PA is a top prospect from Pennsylvania from the 2025 class. She is a center midfielder who could be a No. 6 or No. 8 at the next level. She is an impact player at a high level right now, but she also has an extremely high ceiling. She has the physical tools to take over a game at any minute. She is an excellent passer for the position and routinely contributes multiple key passes per game. On the defensive side of the game, she is a willing worker who will pursue the ball and put in the tackle. She is strong at the point of contact and wins the ball cleanly. While in possession, she quickly switches to point the best option and looks to punish in the transition. Mahan is a top prospect from the midfield in this class.
Ballek is one of the top center forwards from the class. She is a multi tooled prospect who has the potential to be the No. 1 player in this class in the future. She showed her high ceiling with the US Youth National Team over the summer. She is an impact player at that level because she has the skill to control the ball in tight spaces, and also the strength to keep defenders off the ball. When she is facing goal, the ball is likely going to end up in the back of the net. She will be a high-priority target for scouts from the 2025 class because the potential is there is to land a player who will be a four-year star.
Highlights
Kennedy Zorn Kennedy Zorn null | GK State #27 Nation AZ is the top prospect from Arizona in the 2025 class and one of the top goalkeepers from the class. She has the physical attributes to be a college keeper in the very near future. As only a sophomore in high school, she still has quite a bit of time to develop before heading to that level. Zorn is an excellent shot-stopper, but she’s equally as good with her distribution with her feet. She is in the Youth National Team picture and will continue to be highly rated as she works hard to improve her craft.
Scott is an incredibly driven attacking talent. The Western Pennsylvania-native plays her club soccer for Ohio-club Internationals. She partners alongside No. 1 ranked prospect Eleanor Klinger to make a dynamic duo for the club. Scott’s flourished alongside Klinger as they bring out the best in each other and drive each other to be better every game. Scott is a right footed player who is either an attacking midfielder or a winger at the next level. She is skillful on the ball and makes great decisions in passing. She is excellent in combination play and really shines when surrounded with players who can play simple, quick soccer, which she will find as she continues to move up in levels at the youth game. Scott had a stellar showing with the US Youth National Team over the summer and will be one to watch in the future.
Mary – DUP Long Mary – DUP Long F KS is the type of player who you feel like could do absolutely anything on the soccer field. My first time scouting Long in person she was playing up an age group and still looked like she was getting anywhere she wanted against a defense that was designed to slow her down. She was the leading scorer for both her club and high school team last season. Long is a terrific finisher, but she projects as an attacking midfielder at the next level considering her vision and playmaking capabilities. Given her experience playing for KC Current II over the summer, it’s easy to see how she will fit playing against college players in the future.
