From a distance she reminded me of a former Monarch defender with great size and durability. Avery can also make precise passes after making clean tackles in the defensive third. Her ability to read the offense is one of the reasons they can go deep into the playoffs. I really like her size and mobility and the great part is that she is just scratching the surface at this high level competition as a freshman starter.
