The Georgia talent was very good today albeit in defeat against Club America. She has everything that a top center back needs to succeed at the next level. Like most players from Tophat she is very good in possession and really good at breaking lines. Her size and athleticism makes her look like a woman amongst girls out there. Really impressive display from Buchanan whom would be an excellent fit in the SEC.

Buchanan was a leader for the Tophat squad at the event in Florida. The center back had strong performances in every game. She was heavily involved in the action and made key plays throughout the games. Her long passing and her off-ball intelligence with positioning was a highlight in the difficult game against Lou Fusz.

Buchanan was part of the Tophat team that won the group with only two goals conceded and two shutouts from the event. The center back impressed in the game against Columbus United. With a sense of urgency to grab all three points from the fixture, the center back did well in finding direct passes on goal and picking out the runs of her teammates on goal. She had a few line splitting passes that showed off her vision and playmaking quality.

Buchanan is the other player from Georgia who is part of the US Soccer U15 Girls National Team. She is also a defender with a bright future at outside back.
She has quite the list of accomplishments already – Girls Academy MVP, multiple Youth National Team call-ups, and National Champion at the club level. There is plenty of reason to believe she is the most impactful player in this age group. She is a dominant force on the field as a two-way impact player and one of the best in the nation in her role.
