Rodgers plays as a right back for HTX. The team typically plays with a back three, which fits her offensive-minded style very well and gives her the freedom to consistently push forward and support the attack. Rodgers does a great job of staying wide and helping stretch the field and is very dangerous when she gets the ball on the wing because of her impressive dribbling ability. She can beat opponents in tight spaces and also thrives at attacking the space behind the backline out wide, keeping opponents under constant pressure. Rodgers also does well when she brings the ball inside and has the vision and the quality to deliver excellent final passes, be it from the end line or the central region of the field.

The right wingback had a very offensive approach and was one of her team’s main attacking options in the match. With Rise efficiently blocking the center of the field, HTX had to try to make plays on the flanks and Rodgers was arguably their best option. She consistently stepped into the final third and was very efficient with her plays, beating defenders off the dribble and making crosses from the end line. Rodgers also brought the ball inside from the right on some occasions, disorganizing Rise’s defensive system and creating space for her teammates to explore.

Rodgers is a defender on the HTX 2010 GA. She was selected for the Girls Academy National Talent ID event. Rodgers is an outside back. She is the best dribbler in that position in this class. She keeps close control of the ball while also maintaining balance. Rodgers plays with her head up, which helps her beat the first mark and find the right pass to create chances for her team. Rodgers is one of the best players on one of the best teams in the 2010 age group. She’s proven to be a top talent in this class.
