Devaux is HTX’s goalkeeper. She’s been a part of the USYNT for a couple of years now and was recently with the U15 team in the Netherlands, where she was one of the standouts. Combining great size and excellent technical skills, she is an elite shot-stopper who makes the most of her positioning and has impressive athleticism to go with it. Devaux is very reliable in the air, showing great command of the penalty box. The goalkeeper is a vocal leader for her team, constantly communicating with her backline, and has excellent feet, which allow her to connect long passes with ease.

Devaux played for the Seven Lakes team that navigated the Spartan Bracket with two wins and a loss – I got to watch her in a 2-1 loss to Stratford in the second round of the tournament. A freshman, she stood out as one of the best in the position, showing a well-polished game between the posts and a great attitude. Devaux has good size and solid technical skills, and also demonstrated good athleticism to make saves and claim or punch crosses in the box. The most impressive aspect of her game, however, was probably her very high soccer IQ, which allowed her to efficiently command the backline, keeping constant communication with her teammates and providing insightful and clear instructions to them.

DeVaux is the goalkeeper on the HTX 2011 GA team. She is also part of the US Soccer Youth National Team. She’s a tall shot-stopper with excellent hands and great footwork. She is an exceptional passer for the position. While watching game film from the recent event in December, it was easy to remark about the quality DeVaux brings to the position as a passer. She pinged a ball with accuracy over 60 yards that created a chance for her team. She has every tool in her kit to the top goalkeeper in the country in her class.
