Expert Analysis

Guilherme Torres

Prep Soccer Lead Scout

Allen is a forward with Lonestar ‘ last=’SC’] ATX Red. Tall and skilled, she typically occupies multiple defenders and offers a lot up top for them with her strong all-around game. Allen does a good job operating as the focal point of her team’s offense with her ability to work with her back to the goal, but can also make plays a little deeper, showing excellent vision and passing skills. She has a great presence inside the box, but also does well around it, using her close control to dribble the ball and firing nice shots.

Allen was with the Lonestar ‘ last=’SC’] ATX Red U15 team that faced Rise SC U16 and Sting Black U15 over the weekend. Tall and athletic, she made a big impact in the team’s offense with her ability to get on the end of passes, hold the ball up and connect with her teammates in the attacking half. Allen uses her body extremely well to maintain possession and keep defenders in her back was a constant target for long passes and throw-ins. The forward also demonstrated nice vision and passing skills to drop deeper and set up plays with diagonals and through balls.
