Carr is the top-ranked prospect in our updated Rankings. She’s part of Sting Austin G09 in the ECNL League and represents Lake Travis at the high school level. An English youth international, she has plenty of experience at the highest level and makes the most of it to dominate games in the Lone Star State. She’s a ruthless scorer who knows her way inside the penalty box and can put the ball into the back of the net with either foot or her head, but her game goes well beyond that. Carr also stands out when she gets involved in the team’s playmaking, either by dropping deeper to connect passes or drifting wide to make runs and beat defenders. The forward is excellent with her set-piece deliveries and energetic at pressing opponents.

Carr was in action with the Lake Travis team that got to play in the event’s Warrior Bracket. She was very active in a 1-1 first-round tie with A&M Consolidated that resulted in a defeat in the PK shootout for her team. The sophomore was her team’s striker, but moved everywhere in the final third, getting involved in the team’s playmaking and helping create chances for herself and her teammates. Carr worked very well with her back to the goal and also showed excellent timing and acceleration to make runs behind the backline, keeping opponents under pressure. She had some dangerous shots in goal and also did well in set pieces. The forward was very energetic at pressing opposing defenders, pushing them to force long passes out of the back.

The dual international bagged what was ultimately the game winner for her Sting side against the Charlotte Independence. The USA and England international runs the channels so well and can also drop deep and facilitate. Top player.

Carr has two of the biggest countries in world soccer competing for her services. She has been with the England Youth National Team as well as the USA Youth National Team. She has performed at a very high level in both camps. She is an incredibly gifted playmaker. It will be interesting to see which team she will play for if there’s ever a tournament where she has to choose one or the other.

Carr and her Sting Austin team ended the weekend undefeated, with two wins and one tie. She was very active in their 2-1 win over Eclipse Select on the final day of the event, facilitating the team’s offense with her great positioning and quality on the ball. Carr, who scored in their opening match against PDA White with a beautiful shot, played the striker role for most of the time, but did a great job of getting involved in the team’s playmaking, moving very well off the ball and connecting quick, one-time passes. She was also dangerous when she dropped deeper to get on the ball and made runs through the middle, displaying great vision to find teammates in good spots with her passing.
