Zaragoza will be with the Houston Rangers U15 team that will play against NEFC, RSL Arizona and SSA Swarm in Group C. A defensive midfielder with excellent vision and superior technical skills, he’s one of the pillars of the team, providing quality and consistency in the center of the field. Zaragoza is very active defensively, benefiting from his excellent positioning to dispossess opponents and win duels. He’s probably even more important to his team in possession, maneuvering the ball in crowded areas to create space and playing intelligent passes that help set up attacking plays.

Zaragoza and his Houston Rangers team ended up in second place in the U15 Supergroup silver bracket, producing a campaign of one win, three losses and two ties. One of the team’s most dynamic players, the center midfielder is very active and makes an impact for them on both sides of the ball. Zaragoza is very disciplined and determined defensively, stepping out of his position to win the ball and stop plays with well-timed tackles. He also adds a lot offensively, distributing the ball intelligently, making strong runs through the center of the field and popping up in good spots around the box to finish chances.

Zaragoza was very active and efficient at the defensive midfielder role, getting very involved in the Rangers’ game. He covered a lot of ground in front of the team’s penalty box and was excellent at being the first to get to the second ball, recovering possession numerous times throughout the match. The midfielder also saw the ball a lot and was always very intelligent and efficient with his distribution, picking the right options to connect passes and making his time move the ball upfield. He also demonstrated good ability to support the Rangers’ offense, getting into the final third on some occasions and assisting Hernandez with an inch-perfect through ball in the team’s last goal.
