How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Being aggresive. I am not afraid to dive into a bunch to save that ball and will put my body on the line to make sure the ball stays out of the net. This is what I signed up for by being a keeper so I will commit to that.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A keeper is the most mentally challenging position on the field. I don’t like to dwell on the past because dwelling on the past makes you miss the present. If I make a mistake I like to learn from it and put it behind me because there is nothing else I can do about it. We all make mistakes but the real question is how we react to them.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At Mater Dei High School, I am involved in the Sunshine Club, which helps kids in the hospital by cheering them up, decorating their rooms, etc.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a keeper has definitely taught me leadership. I see the entire field so I may see things my teammates do not. I’m assertive and loud to make sure my teammates hear me as well as the other team if I am competing for a ball.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One thing I have struggled with is my confidence. It is something many great athletes go through and something very few overcome. Luckily, I have many awesome coaches, teammates, friends, and family to always pick me up when I can’t and I will always do the same to them.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with not only a good soccer program but also a good academics program. Education is my top priority and athletics come next.
